Bio and Links
Bio Photo Born in NJ, I have lived in Florida over 50 years now. I have been doing genealogy for about 20 years. I am a Moore, Green, Howell, Coryell, Ashwell, Reynolds and on my fathers side, Horster, Fauteck, Pries and Kreis. I usually stay only one or two generations off the tree, but sometimes folks get so intermingled, I cant help but check them out too. I am willing to share info and photos, feel free to email me.

I will gladly transfer if you are nice about it - I believe the "guidelines" are just that - guidelines. If you are more closely related, regardless, I am willing to transfer, just give me the info.

We all make mistakes, so be kind. If I ask you a question, its just that, a question not an attack, so take it easy. I make plenty of mistakes, just let me know when you find them and I will fix without attitude.

Findagrave is wonderful and I enjoy this so much.

Margaret DeWitt Heitsman
Thank you for transferring Margaret to me. I am still searching for her gravestone at Harmony Cemetery which is not very large. I have been underneath the church where her father, mother and one sister are buried but did not see her stone. She is interesting as she had a will when she died and quite a bit of money so I believe she has a stone. It just may be worn.

RE: Ritch Family Cemetery Greenwich Ct
Thanks Donna! Its Betsy Ritch and Newcomb Marshall. When I discovered the graveyard in 1983,it was all paperwork and very time consuming...and no computers! Now I have more time and am trying to get back to it as when my mother is gone..well so is a lot of verbal family history dating back to the 19th century. But I will make a trip there and photograph it very soon and get them to you.

Well...we are related! I discovered this cemetery in 1983 by accident.I picked up my grandmothers death certificate and just kept asking for the parents death certs on each and went back quite a way right there in the town hall. The library filled in the rest.I also had a go around with the town hall over ownership because the cemetery is literally in someones front yard.Finally....they said..it belongs to the descendants of the people in there. But! This is one corner of the Ritch farm that was once used as a burial ground. My mother and I planted bulbs and we check on it from time to time.I am now in the middle of finishing this family research for my Mom who is getting up there and wants to know its been done.

Thanks!

Ritch Family Cemetery Greenwich Ct

Hi,Besides wondering if you would transfer any ritch family members to me? My Grandmother is the great grand daughter of Betsy Ritch Marshall.
I have been to this cemetery and it is not only hard to find...but way off the beaten track.Question is....how? You from Florida...found your way there?
