Got interested in this in trying to research our family tree after my Dad died and found out no one knew too much about my father's mother's side. Now I find I spend most of my spare time tromping around Western NY cemeteries, looking for my ancestors, REDDEN, GRIFFEN, WOLCOTT,KEENAN, KING, DURFEE, HAND, BROOKS, ALLEN and HARVEY.
If I've entered someone in your family I would be glad to add info or transfer them to you. If you request a transfer please state your relationship to the deceased. And please excuse any errors I may have made and contact me for a correction. Be sure to put FAG in the subject line so I don't delete your e-mail.Hope I can help someone.

Thank you so much for all of your painstaking efforts! Being in Lowell, MA these days, it isn't easy to get around to Pavilion, NY do the work you've done, so thank you once again!

Marsha, I submit the following for your consideration: I’m deducing the dates provided from the head stones. ‘Baby Son Hall’ died 15 Feb 1850. Charles and Charlie Hall were born 1864 and 1861 respectively. ‘Hall Son” was born 1850 and died 14 Feb 1850 and could not be the son of either Charles or Charlie. Stanley Hall was born 26 April 1850 and is the son of Lorenzo and Caroline Hall. So, the two infant Hall sons belong to Lorenzo and Caroline as well as Stanley. I further deduce, as many may already have, that the three boys are triplets and where born perhaps on the same day, 26 April 1850.
Very Respectfully,

RE: Norman Durfee
Yes, he is my biological grandfather. My mother was seven when he died and was not allowed to go to the funeral out of concern for her well being. She had told me I am named after him, Norman Russell. She remembered that he lived for about 24 hours after the accident but not much else. She tried to find where he was buried much later in her life but was not so lucky. Can I assume that you have done/are doing/ the genealogy for your family?

RE: April Stocker
I don't remember if I ever sent you a reply or not, but on this, the 22nd anniversary of her leaving this earth, I can only tell you how special your daughter was, and how she made the world a better place. We worked together @ Wendy's while she was at UNC-Asheville. I only knew her a short while, but she really was special...I only wish that I had gotten to know her better. A few years ago I purchased an old yearbook from her high school from ebay so to have a picture of her...and there are times that I have difficult days or can't seem to get it together, I think of her and what she would do, and somehow things just work out. I wished that I could have gotten to know her more, because she left her mark on me for the rest of my life. You raised a wonderful daughter...always remember that! If you ever need to reach me, please Take care, and Happy Belated Mother's Day!!!

RE: Lemuel Durfee
Apparently Parker is also known as LEmeul Durfee Cemetery but the cemetery picture on the website is not of that cemetery it belongs to Sanford Cem on a different Road.

Georgia Girl
Elizabeth Ann Hollingsworth Wollcott
Thank you ... Marsh, I've made this change showing Elizabeth Ann Carr (m. Joseph B. Hollingsworth) as being the mother of Elizabeth Ann Hollingsworth Wollcott (m. William Wadsworth Wollcott), buried in Westview Cemetery, Atlanta, GA. Would like to know your how you came to knowing this was her mother's name. Look forward to hearing from you.

Betsey Sturdevant Hatch headstone picture
Marsha, Thank you so much for getting the picture of Betsey's headstone for me. I hope that it wasn't too difficult. I had some records that indicated that William and Esther Hatch were also buried there which were in error. I appreciate the extra effort you took to try to find the headstones. Thank you very much for getting a great picture of Betsey's. Now if I could only figure out who her parents really were. Anita

FAG - James Botsford
The Davis Cemetery of Portageville, Wyoming, NY
contains the grave of James Botsford, 1848-1869 or 1870. Would you please take another look at your memorial and see if you don't think the inscription shows middle initial N rather than M.
I believe his middle name is Napolean.
Thanks Sue
