You have posted two wonderful photographs so I am thinking this is probably family. If so, I would like to have more dialog about the Lambert families of this county. My Grandmother Mary Viglia Lambert was briefly married to a Leigh Lambert of which I am not finding much information although they had two young children that died.
If you have more information I should like hearing from you.
Thank you, Beth

|S Hemingway||Root Family in Fairview Cemetery|
Sorry I did not get photos of the gravestones of Willie D. & Ruby E. Root when I was at the Fairview Cemetery. I happened upon the Willie J. & Hattie Root & Charles gravestones when visiting the graves of relatives in Sect. C...a short distance from the Root stones...so I snapped a couple quick pictures. (obviously not the right Willie Root) I believe Willie D. Root was said to be in Sect. B. I will try to make a note of that when I next visit Fairview Cemetery if your request is still not fulfilled. It does take a little time to find some of the stones in the cemetery...especially if they are flat markers.

The photo that you posted for Cuthbert June Trimble does not show. Maybe you could repost it. Thanks for your efforts.

I sent a note to the other memorial owner -- her last name is Adair, so probably a close relative
I said you'd be happy to delete yours if she wanted to update hers with all of the pertinent information
Hopefully she will do that
Thanks for your help!

Your welcome. Here are my notes:
A single monument, inscribed PLUDE with the image of a cross lying down, atop a single block with 3 names. From left to right.
Leon O., 1900-1968, K of C shield (Knights of Columbus)
Gertrude A Skym, his wife, 1901-1966
Daniel J, 1940-2000
|B.J. Waters||Ada MacDonald|
Sorry, this person is not buried at Inglewood. Also, the only person with the last name MacDonald that was buried there in 1938 was an Elizabeth MacDonald, 79 years old. Since your Ada was much younger at the time of death, I knew it could not be the same person. I asked about John Ivan MacDonald, and he is not buried there either. I wish this could have been a positive response.
I just noticed it was MacDonald not McDonald. I will go back and ask again. I wrote it down wrong. Sorry.
|B.J. Waters||Ada McDonald photo request.|
I am sorry this was not a positive outcome. The cemetery staff confirmed that there is no Ada McDonald, nor a John Ivan McDonald buried here. She checked 2 databases and found nothing.
|Frances Cope||RE: Photo Request Lorna Melville|
I have verified with the cemetery that burials did not begin in Cypress until 1956. You might check the 800 number for more information. 204-3131. Good luck.
