Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
I feel that all memorials that we enter are really the property of the families of the deceased, and so (1) I strive to make them as nice as possible, and (2) if they ask anything to be changed, I will gladly do it.
I feel that it is our duty as contributors to take the best photographs possible, and ensure that the entire gravestone is pictured (and clean).
Also, it is fine to add more gravestone photos to mine, especially if it is higher resolution, one without shadows or dirt, or is a close-up showing more detail!
While credit is nice, any photograph that I post to a memorial may be used without my express permission.

RE: Retiree
The photos (Quarter Century) are in a file I have of his career related items, but I have not scanned them yet as they are out of state. I am slowly bringing things over from my Gram's for my family album as I have now taken up the job of family historian.

I do have several photos of the plant at Bridgeport and the aircraft (Sikorsky flying boats) on the line from the late 1930'3-1940's if you want those for the newsletter. A few photos of named co-workers too.

RE: Obits
It appears the obit photos for John & mom Anna are the clippings in .jpg format I made for my tree, but the resolution is very poor. I was going to add obits, but I found adding obituary scans is against the policy of F.A.G. because it may infringe on the copyright of the newspaper. Those article copyrights are currently help by, so I didn't post them here (but made copies for my personal family tree media media folder on Ancestry).

The copies of the LTV pix you have are also a very low resolution for some reason- incredibly blurry. ? I recently found boxes of old photos and now have the original black & white 8x10s the company handed out of that photo.

RE: Memorials
My Grandma likely sent in money to the church to remember her fav son and husband. She visited other parishes with her friends as members of the Daughters of Isabella and surely that is how the church in Washington, MI came into play.

RE: Bruno
Yes, his was my Grandpa.

I do not think they attended that church in Washington. Maybe for an event or ? Vince didn't really attend mass and the usual parish for the grandparents was St Kieran's.

wrong person photos
Find A Grave Memorial# 98482704

The photos you added to this memorial are for the wrong Bruno Norkus. That memorial is for Bruno W. and the photos are for Bronislaw "Bruno" Stanley Norkus.
