Walking cemeteries is time consuming and sometimes very difficult. Producing a good quality photograph can also be equally time consuming if you clean the stone with water or edit the photo in a computer program. Please follow genealogical guidelines and cite your sources.
We(Lori)Live in Meeker Colorado now. Travel to West Virginia when we can to look for and Photograph family grave sites but living in Colorado makes it hard to get there. We have just started cemetery searches here in our area and have found some of the most interesting stones and cemeterys. After a long illness I have begun to start looking for stones again.

OK - I saw your name for the credit on the State Historical Marker for the Eastern Cemetery, Quincy, FL. I'll try to find it somewhere else.

Hi Michael, I put the watermark when I export the file from the software program I put all of my photo's in. I use Picasa through google.
I have so much information on the Lambert family but I am ever so slowly going through all that I have on ALL of my many families plus the cemeteries I have information for. I will try to look for your wife's Lambert family.

I don't mean to bother you but
I noticed that you added some Largent family members to the site, buried in West Virginia. I also noticed you share their same last name.
Are you connected to the Largent family of West Virginia? I ask because the Largent family came to my attention just recently during my family research of my Deffenbaugh branch. My great-great grand-mother Mary J. Deffenbaugh (known as Jennie) had a sister who married into the Largent family of West Virginia. It has been quite a challenge to research my maternal side of the family. I was asking if you were related to the Largent of West Virginia because I wanted to know, so far if I had the correct information.
Thank You so much for your time.

In your travels in Hampshire County I wonder if you ran into any clues as to where John and Margaret Slane Largent were buried? I would suspect the Powell - Largent cemetery but I wondered if you'd found any proof? Several of their children are there so it would make sense.

I checked the Jefferson Co Histoical Society's page and they do not show a tombstone for Lewis or his wife Martha. So I guess they don't have one.
