I send a big THANK YOU to all contributors, your efforts are a tremendous help to everyone.|
The above photo includes some of my family names. I am descended from numerous pioneer families when West Tennessee and the Missouri Bootheel were wild lands. My earlier ancestors originated from VA, DE, MD, PA, NC, SC, GA.
The dates on some photos I have posted may be hard to read, click on the photo to view a larger image. I may still have a cleaner version of the photo, I will happily provide digital images of photos I have taken, just send an email.
I prefer to transfer memorials to family members and family friends who will take care of the memorials, please use the Edit button on the memorial. If you have changes/corrections, I will be happy to make them if you submit through the Edit button, then the Suggest A Correction feature.
Have fun researching your family history!
In the hope to prevent duplication of TIME, EFFORT and MEMORIALS, below are updates of Cemetery Recordings.

I photographed all the headstones and created memorials on the website, sadly about 40 headstones are too badly eroded to decipher the inscriptions. Click on the Request A Photo button if you would like a photo.

Thank you very much for getting the photo of the grave site for Phelmer Barber.

Would you mind placing the updated photo of Paul C. Woodham's marker on his Find A Grave memorial page? His wife, Foye, has a marker photo that has his and her names on it. His memorial page has an old photo with just his name. (She died in 2014.) His Find A Grave memorial page number is 97636666 with the old photo with just his name. Foye's memorial page number is 143076831 with both their names on that marker and his correct dob and dod. Thank you. They are my sister in law's uncle and aunt.

|Judy K. Brantley/Wilson||RE: Marian Ledel Ivey/Melius/Smith|
Scott - That is probably my entry - yes, I have Ancestry. I am at a loss for her using that last name. She was married to Frank C. Melius, but supposedly he drowned in the ocean, him and a couple of other men went fishing and none ever returned. I have pictures where Marian and Pete (Francis Andrew Smith- my uncle) got married. We have lost touch with her daughter, Linda Melius/Johnson. I have looked and looked for her, but not found her yet.

Thank you so much for taking and posting Marian's marker. I am truly wondering why her name is Melius, when she was married to Francis Andrew Smith, my uncle - - so strange. She was originally married to Frank C. Melius, who supposedly drowned many, many years before. Appreciate your help.
Thank you for the photo!
