Long-time lecturer of writing and women's studies at Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, OH. I am an addictive reader, am interested in geneaology, folk music and sacred harp, and am an Anglican, guitar player, singer, guardian of two rescue dogs and mother of a beautiful adult son.|
I enjoy walking in cemeteries and have made it a personal project to photograph and record the headstones of military personnel in addition to requests in local cemeteries, in honor of their service and the service of my father, stepfather, and uncles in World War II and Korea, friends from Viet Nam, and students from the Gulf Wars and the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. If any of these service persons or others I have added are family members and/or you wish to manage their memorials, just let me know. I am happy to transfer.
Anyone who wants to use my photos in their family tree, on Findagrave, or any other site may do so without my permission.
I am primarily a volunteer photographer and often am unrelated to the people whose memorials I make, so I am happy to transfer. I am doing this work to honor what would otherwise be lost lives, to make visible what has been forgotten.
I would very much appreciate tributes of love to the memorial of a baby whose heartbreaking obituary I found in a newspaper from 1926, and another from a death record:
Baby John Doe: 136921616
and to a young girl who had a hard life and a brief stay in this world: Rene Holley 145768090
Heartfelt thanks to all those who have already added notes--you mean more than I can say

Good evening to you, Cynthia. The gardening is all over for this year. Even though we had a moderate drought during the middle of the summer, everything produced very well. Had a bumper crop of potatoes, and I had all kinds of tomatoes and cucumbers. My neighbors were pleasantly pleased with the produce from my garden. We do freeze stuff, but for other than jelly, we haven't canned anything for quite some time. I hope you have a nice autumn evening.

I was wondering if I could have a transfer. He was my dads cousin. I know my dad can tell me a lot about him. He was a sweet guy.
|Sarah Quinn||RE: Hi, my friend!|
I apologize for taking so long. It has been a busy time with plans to move- not far- and some health issues to resolve.All tests came out okay. I hope you are doing well and looking ahead to my favorite season. And... you are very welcome for all the flowers. With love, Sarah.

Hello! I am about to fulfill your photo request and just wanted you to know that there are 6 other Sandersons buried in this lot. He is with his wife, Ellen, and surrounded by Charles, Samuel, Lucille, Clyde and Helen Sanderson. None of them had memorials so I created ones for them and added photos.
|💞Deborah Zimmerman McCoy💞||Headstone Photo|
Thank you so much for the headstone photo for Jimmie Davis. I appreciate you taking the time to go out the cemetery and help me complete his memorial.
