Sie hätte Euch auch gerne mit Blumen versorgt, aber das kann sie NOCH nicht. Liebe Grüße AnneroseAdded by Annerose on May 18, 2013 12:18 AM | | | May you be blessed with love & flowers-Phyllis

 | a question for you... In visiting your mom tonight, I noticed where she was born. I believe my maternal family originally came from the area, Hanover specifically.
My probable ancestor was named Christian. His last name got changed, probably because English speakers in the states could not pronounce the original. He was known as Storkey or Starkey. He came here as an indentured servant, and had to work 7 years to re-pay the cost of his ocean trip which had been paid by his first employer.
Might you take a guess or two what his last name might have been before his new American brothers changed it? Because of your mom's origins, I am hopeful you might have some familiarity with local names and know what is a possible surname for my man. His memorial with my one guess is here.
Thank you if you are able to give it some thought and share any ideas you may have.Added by sr/ks on May 11, 2013 11:52 PM | | | Michelle ~ღ ƸӜƷ
