I am proud to say that I am a US Air Force Brat.|
I am the youngest of six children. I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
I am the father of 2 beautiful daughters named Ashley and Rachel and a awesome and handsome little grandson named Jacob.
I have very strong family roots in Vigo, Clay, Parke, Sullivan, Vermillion, Daviess, and Knox Counties, Indiana; Campbell Co., TN; Madison, Jackson, and Rockcastle Counties, KY.
My earliest ancestor in America was John Proctor who arrived in Jamestown Colony, VA in 1610 on the Sea Venture. It is also rumored that he was also arrived with the original settlers but returned to England and came back.
I am researching the surnames of Neice, Niece, Nice, Hayne(s), Hane(s), Haine(s), Ramey, Bryant, France, Balding, Bemis, Bullis, Smith, Eby, Payne, Yocum, Yocom, Mitchell, Wagle, Waggle, Buckles, Bicknell, Tallman, Knowlton, Miller, Cope, Proctor, Gadd, Neely, Goffang, Vernon, Creal, Mienheartt, Reynolds, Hill, Phillippe, Cooksey, Simrell, Kendall. Shaw, and Olgus.
If I have added your family member let me know so I can transfer them over to you. As I DO NOT believe in the transfer guidelines, if they are not related to you then why in the world would you want them unless you are a control freak. If they are related to me, then I will let you know and if I am willing to transfer them or not. I usually do unless they are close kin. Sometimes it comes down to who is a closer in relation. However, I am not willing to transfer my direct lines, sorry.
Almost everyone that I have added at Woodlawn Cemetery is of no-relation, so transferring is no problem.

While doing some work on a family, I wanted an obit form the library. But now I can't find or remember the family.
Have spent many many hours in that library but haven't been back to Indiana for about 6 years.
Would you be willing to find an obit for me --- If I find the name again,
Thanks for the help and your work with Find A Grave.
Have a wonderful day.
Hi Mark, you posted memorial #35419271 for Elizabeth Jones who is my 2x great grandmother and her infant child memorial #35419270.
Could you please tell me if you have any picture(s) of their headstone.
Thank you for any info you can provide.

Do you like in or near Terre Haute?
|A P McDaniel||Stephen M Garrigus II|
Stephen M Garrigus II, named after his grandfather, is my great great uncle. As the person in charge of maintaining his memorial, would you please check what I believe are mistakes listed? His memorial number is 26606376. He died at eight years of age and so could not have a spouse. I believe someone confused him with his grandfather Stephen Muncie Garrigus (1806-1838) who was married to Mary Polly Adams (1813-1887).
My Find a Grave contributor number is 47954358. I have been researching on our family tree for about 20 years. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help. I would also like to ask for transfers of any of my Garrigus/Yocum/Yocom family members that you would be willing to turn over to me.

A Jesse Grover Bryant married my 5th cousin Lida Wornom and they had two children together. I know she remarried. I found a Jesse Bryant's death certificate "Death of American Citizens Abroad -1835-1948" which I have on his profile page on Ancestry. He died 23 May 1948. There was no middle name or birthdate given; however, the death date was matching. He had a US address 1081 Pine St., San Francisco. His will was probated in San Francisco. His wife Sarah Bryant lived in Australia and supplied the information on the certificate. He was cremated.
I hope this is helpful. You don't need to change his death place from California. I wanted to complete his profile and found this certificate. This may not be your great uncle.

I saw that you had sent me some edits to process for James Land and his wife, Permelia. Are you related by any chance? I'm wondering where you got their dates of birth from. Thanks.

Would it be possible to transfer these two Find a Grave memorials to me? They are my great, great grandparents. Thank you so much.

I think I'm related to Lula thru her father William Fifer. Are you familiar with him?
Thank you, Charlene
|Bob Atherton||Mary, 35419231 & Calvin Johnson, 35419217|
First off, thank you for making available all the Woodlawn Cemetery postings.
Would you know if there is any link between the two above monuments (Mary, 35419231 & Calvin Johnson, 35419217). Do you know if the stones exist or if they are in the same plot?
I am asking because they might be the parents of
Emeline (75472060), John B and Cordelia (1860 census).
Thank you in advance for any help.

Dear Mark, First, thank you for your devotion to honoring so many through this site. I can tell it is truly a labor of love for you. I am requesting that you transfer Memorial #33488703 for Mildred Jean Balding to me. She was the daughter of my grandfather's sister, Maude Davis and Maude's first husband, Chester Balding. I have a beautiful photo of her that I can post and also attach her to the others in our family. I just today added Mildred's mother, Maude, to Find-A-Grave. I recently joined Ancestry.com and "found" Mildred Jean Balding on the site. I was very sorry to see that she is in an unmarked grave. Thank you very much. Kathleen Austin
