I was bitten by the genealogy bug about 8 years ago, walking through and searching cemeteries became part of it. I find cemeteries a most peaceful and calming place. I spend most of my free time photographing and transcribing my local cemeteries. I also clean headstones, my passion is edging and cleaning Military Footstones in Honor of my father, my hero and my best friend. He passed away in 2006 and I miss him dearly. I have added 1000's of names and photos to the North Elba Cemetery and St Agnes Cemetery in Lake Placid NY. I will be happy to transfer management to anyone related to the beloved who wants it. Gravestone photo ues request Hi there. I am researching victims of the Iroquois Theater fire in 1903 and ask permission to use your photo of the gravestone for Ora Rimes Kingsley. Find A Grave Memorial# 118795411. Ora was orphaned when her parents and brothers died in the fire.
RE: Eunice C Watson Reid Hi there! It's nice to hear from you again. It's been some time since I've been here as well, and I haven't had much of a chance to do any headstone hunting either. I'm hoping to get back to it in the Spring when the weather is better and the ground isn't so messy. Thanks for transferring the memorial for Eunice Watson Reid....it's very much appreciated! Best wishes...Jill
Lucinda Walton Heald # 149272367 I am working at linking up this family, using their family tree. The birth date it shows for Lucinda is 05 Apr 1812. Her husband Otis E. was born 28 Jun 1807.He doesn't seem to have a page made for him yet. They were married Nov 2 1828. On her page you show her birth year as 1862, with her final age of 28. Wondered if it's a misread and you estimated the age from that. The tree shows their children are born between 1829 and 1849. I commend you on all the contributions you've been making. It's invaluable. Keep up the good work!!!
RE: Achsah Darling Ferrin FAG #73413864 Thanks for the privilege. The only thing I can really read on it is Ferrin. Do you remember any thing else about it? If so will you let me and Ross, the name on the memorial know?
