DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND MY CONTROL, I NO LONGER HAVE INTERNET OR EMAIL (AT HOME), I WILL STILL BE ADDING MEMORIALS-TRANSFERS-CORRECTIONS ON TWO OTHER COMPUTERS.
PLEASE LEAVE ALL MESSAGES HERE. Be sure to include your contributor ID #.
Ancestors & relatives never really go away, they get buried, cremated or vaulted in a sacred place for us to visit and remember. After all, where would we be without our ancestors? As much as it hurts to lose a loved one, we must be thankful for the time we had together. These memorials in FIND A GRAVE are growing by a million a month and make it easier for the world to find & see the memorials of their loved ones. Through these memorials, they live on.
Passionate is an understatement, Genealogy & Cemeteries are a big part of my life. Have 35 years of sometimes obsessive research under my belt. I'm one of the very few volunteers for Madison County, NY which is 662 square miles with 285 Cemeteries and endless hills (up to 1800 ft) & valleys, so go easy on me folks.
Genealogically I picked up where my Grandfather and his father left off. I specialize in Madison County, NY and surrounding areas and Warren County, NY. If you find your relative in my memorials and would like transfers or to add bios, or corrections let me know. All my photos are free for distribution.
Though it feels like "good-bye", we know that in reality, for those of us who have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ it is merely, "see-you-later"
Taphophilia is a interest for and enjoyment of cemeteries. Taphophilia involves epitaphs, gravestone rubbing, photography, art, and history of deaths. The singular term is a taphophile.

Find A Grave Memorial# 61262005
his obit... if you'd care to add it
Mrs. Mary Clark of Sylvan Beach received a telegram Monday morning announcing the death of her son, Sergt. John Schremph at Camp Bowie, on Sunday. A telegram sent last week announcing his illness was not given his mother as she was ill in bed. Sergt. Schremph was born in Oneida 18 years ago and had always lived here. He was employed by W. E. Valintcourt when war was declared and enlisted in April 1917. He was sent to Fort Slocum and after preliminary training was sent to Fort McIntosh, Lorado, Texas. He applied himself to soldiering and some time ago was sent to Camp Bowie, Near Fort Worth, to train for a commission. He is survived byhis mother; two sisters, Anna May and Catherine of Sylvan Beach and three brothers, James and Jacob of Sylvan Beach and Henry of Oneida. The remains will be brought to Oneida and the funeral held from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bortie, 15 Cedar street.
The remains will arrive here at 9:10 Friday night and be taken charge of by Kenna & Iles. A military funeral will be held.

|Anita Mott Lucia||Walter Webster Mott|
I am Walter Mott's granddaughter and would ask that you correct his listing to note that his wife was actually Josephine Holcolmb, not Lola Abbott. Lola was my great aunt, not my grandmother. Thanks!
