Metairie Cemetery
We just finished walking the entire cemetery. We did not find your loved one. If you would call the cemetery they will give you the section your loved one is in. If you find out let us know and we will go back over to the cemetery to get the photo. Have a great day.

Thanks
Thanks for the transfer of Abagail Harwood. The photo of the head stone gave me more info on her family.

RE: Gedney/Secor
Hi Kelly:

Anna is my 4th great grandmother. Here are the generations.

Eli Secor = Anna ?

Francis Secor = Hannah Carpenter

James Francis Secor = Anna Maria Ely

Frank Dickerson = Clara Gonzalez Secor

William Rowe Conklin = Anna Lulu Dickerson

William Dickerson Conklin = Isabel Wright

William Wright Conklin (me) = Susan Meyers

I can't find Anna Gedney in any records, nor can I find Anna Hadden. The reason for my current search is a note in my family files that says: "Eli Secor was a miller in Port Chester & during the Revolution the Skinners demanded Eli's money & his wife Anna Hadden would not tell where he was so she was shot by one of the Skinners & had to walk one or three miles to a doctor to have [the] wound dressed." I write family stories and I'm trying to document this note.

Anna Secor
Anna Secor (1745-1812) who is buried in the Eleazor Gedney Burial Ground is my ancestor. Her Find-a-Grave surname is given as Gedney. My undocumented family records give her surname as Hadden. Do you have documented information regarding her Gedney surname or can you tell me where you came by this information?

Thank you for any assistance.
