I became interested in my ancestors & kin when I was as young as age 16 and have been researching and archiving for 28 years now. I'm an Interfaith Minister and a contributing Indexer for Familysearch.org; a sister site of Ancestry.com, therefore my contributions to F-A-G are few while I take a good deal of time in making sure that any creation of memorials added by me of related, especially of non-related persons; that I have accurate Vital records by County, State, or Emigration/ origin of birth before placing them or linking them. Family is a precious thing and I know many people who find F-A-G as a wonderful genealogical resource as well as a source for remembering those we loved and lost.|

|Pamela B.||West Lebanon!|
Hi, I posted a photo of Euphrasia Lash as you requested. I also took one of Lee's side of the stone, and I kept thinking that name seemed familiar. Well, my uncle, Don Groff, was born and raised in West Lebanon. His parents, George and Helen Groff lived in a brown house right on the corner of 241 and 105, across from where the Shamrock Inn used to be. Both places were torn down years ago, and the old Groff homestead is now a vacant lot, but their old water pump is still there. My family lived a couple miles from there, and my old bus route went through West Lebanon, so I vaguely remember some Lash's. Small world. If you like, I will post the headstone photos on Lee's memorial :) Take care!
|Shelly||Datko Family Connection|
I came across your profile while doing some research of my own Datko family. I know that I have come across Carl Raymond Datko's name in my research, but have never been able to confirm or disprove any connection. I was hoping that we could discuss his early family and compare notes to see if there is a connection. His resemblance to some of my Datko family members is strong.

If you go to the memorial, you can request a photo be taken by someone in the area. I only took the cemetery photo. I don't live in the Nashville area.
Sorry I couldn't help.

Re Talmadge D Lash
You list him as the father of Lee Earl Lash; however, Lee Earl Lash who married Euphrasia Warstler was the son of Talmadge Lash who married Clara Roan--you show this death certificate on Lee Earl Lash's memorial page. Somehow things got mixed up, I think!
You might want to review this Lash line that you created and see what is going on.
Re: Winfield " Scott "General" Buchanan
Grave Memorial #84012165
Sorry for the type'o & sorry it took me so long to get the edit done to his birth year. My computer with all my log-ins was in extended repair (grr). However I'm up & running again and now the date is correct. Thank you very much for pointing that error out to me or I would have never known. Also.... Hi cousin! :) Glad to meet you!

Yes, I did take the photo of General Scott several years ago...I'm sorry, but I don't live in North Carolina..was just there doing other research, so I cannot offer any information about the cemetery/records etc.
Have a great day!

Regarding your request to add a link to her on her parent's memorials. That has to be done through Flora's memorial and I am not the owner of that memorial, so you will need to contact the owner of her memorial and ask them to add links to her father and mother.
|Anita Justice-Wages||Lenoard Buchanan|
Can you tell me if you know where Elizabeth Buchanan is buried? You have her husband Leonard Lemuel Buchanan, buried at Yellow Mt. Cemetery in Avery County. His Find A Grave# is 97490448. Could it be that she is buried there as well? He died in 1881 and she died in 1886. Thank you.
