1. Edits and other changes.
I am usually delighted to process your edits or suggested corrections. However I will neither do your data entry nor edit your spelling and punctuation. If information can be entered in specific fields, you will need to do that through the new edit system and I will accept or decline it. Other suggested changes such as biographies or obituaries or requests for transfers will be honored via the "Suggest any other correction or addition" which sends me an Email with a link to the page and to you. I might fact check your information through resources available to me.
I will transfer any memorial I have created on request except those for
a. my own ancestors or in my virtual cemeteries.
b. Nor will I transfer to anyone who is listed as "Anonymous" and has a blank profile. It is difficult to trust someone who is so concealed.
c. Nor will I transfer to the terminally rude unless you document the four generation proximity of relationship required by the FAQ.
I give explicit permission to copy and use any photo I have taken and posted on Find a Grave for your own genealogical purposes. No need to ask.
I am a retired Episcopal priest who has done genealogical work for her own family since 1990. I used to serve as a Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness volunteer for Cottonwood County before that site closed. I'm still willing to do lookups. This is easy to do, as I live within a mile of the Courthouse and Historical Society. Or you can contact the Historical Society at firstname.lastname@example.org. They charge $10. per hour plus copying for research.
I am nearly done doing whole small cemeteries in Cottonwood County, Minnesota. The five of us working on that have finished all but the three city cemeteries. If I have been able to post a photo on the front page of a cemetery in CC you will find my status notes in the caption. [Feb 2013] Working on Mountain Lake from photos & register and Lakeview from a list. I am also working on comprehensive postings for columbaria in Minnesota Episcopal churches.
My daughter thinks graving is a waste of time but I point out that it gets me out for a walk up and down "rows" in the cemetery. And a friend of hers pointed out that considering all the recent zombie movies it's good to remember this: It is far better to be looking for dead people than to have dead people looking for you! Enjoy!

|Mary Sicard||RE: Joseph Thobe|
Thank you so much for researching for this man. I appreciate all you do.
|Mary Sicard||Joseph Thobe|
I see you have a memorial for him in St Francis in Windom. His father was Frank and did live in Mountain Lake. Do you have him in any cemetery listing in Cottonwood County? He died in 1969 possibly in Kandiyohi County but I thought I would check with you.
|Barbara AKA Indybaba||Frank Gilleland|
You might want to contact Robert Chudeck who entered most of the memorials at Maple Grove Cemetery. Just click on his name on any memorial he manages. He may be able to give you advice about where to find more information about finding out if Frank Gilleland is buried at Maple Grove. There are 4 unknown occupants listed on the Occupant Burial Report.
|James Odland||Duane Hildebrandt (#17765779)|
Thank you for checking about Duane' remains. Please contact the owner of Duane' memorial directly, so that that person may change the status of Duane' remains.

|Thistleymeadows||RE: Maria Hiebert|
It would be fine for you to add information, and I will let you know if I can learn more too. I wouldn't want those pictures posted either. Always wondered why of all the pictures there was a row of post-mortum pictures hanging in the back bedroom. If there is any one in the area who is knowledgable about people from the Wall or Hiebert or Flamings I have the pictures that my dad had of the family and have no idea who many of them are. It would be nice to put more names and faces together. Again Thank you so much.
|scott sheppard||RE: The Stobbes/Stubbs and Aron Wiebe|
there is no logical reason for u to hold onto them
|Thistleymeadows||RE: Maria Hiebert|
Maria and Magaretha Hiebert were both unmarried sisters of my grandpa Frank B. Hiebert. They both died of diphtheria 3 days apart on their parents farm. Their parents were Cornelius C. and Maria Flaming Hiebert.
I have pictures of them in their coffins but am not sure if other pictures I have are of them or not. (Grandpa used to have the pictures of them hanging upstairs in the back bedroom along with pictures of others who had also passed away.)
I will inquire at the Cornerstone Bible Church if there is any more information about them on record, and get back to you. If they have their old records there should be a baptism date for them both.
Thank you for your work on this project.
Cindy R. Hiebert
