I went to St Thomas today. The marker is not covered over. It is as we left it when we cleared it for the picture. It would be in the second row of flat stone after the tall stones about in the middle of the St Thomas area. It was clearly visible. Not so for the stones around it. I was looking for a few others to satisfy requests of other people and could not find them. transferring to you.

As I recall it was very hard to find. It is a flat stone and they mow right over these. They get covered with weeds and dirt and I mean a lot of it. I am pretty sure that we had to carefully remove a lot before we saw it. Sometimes in that section you only see a piece of stone and have to clear it or , as I do, you thump along with your cane until you feel something different and then try to clear to see if it is what you want. Also sometimes people are on a stone of another name. Ie She could have been on the Griffin stone but as lockwood. I am not sure where in St. Thomas I found it. If you call the church office, they will give family members the location of stone. I have heard that they charge non family members and so I ask family members to get location before I try to look. I am glad to transfer to you.

It was wonderful to see the picture! Except for my dad, I've never seen any pictures of his side of the family. Not his mother or anyone before her. This was a great surprise. :)

Hi Sarah. I loved seeing the picture! Do you have anymore? Lucinda is my 4 times great grandmother. The majority of the pictures I took in Riverside Cemetery were of ancestors on my dad's side of the family, Haywards and Parkers. I'd be curious to see how we connect to her. I've done the genealogy research. I look forward to hearing from you. Feel free to email me anytime. Thanks!
