|This is FIND-A-GRAVE. When you create a memorial with a burial UNKNOWN, that's not really FINDING a grave is it?- NO! Per the policies of this website (Go to home page and click the link for FAQ's)the designation of "Unknown" is only to be used for 30 days- it's supposed to be temporary labeling. It's NOT for Jim-Bob who died in the 1700's!|
Create a family tree in Ancestry.com that is public and that way you can share your data but this is FIND-A-GRAVE!
And PUH-LEEZE, PRETTY PLEASE, DON'T plop someone in a cemetery because they happened to live in that town, or because their family did, or because they died in that town.
Oh and another thing- just because someone is buried in a particular cemetery- it does not mean they died in that town!
Okay, that's it, I'm done venting.... whew!
This is how I approach Ancestry and Find A Grave. Before I enter data into my tree or use on a Find A Grave memorial I try to find some vital record, newspaper mention, census, or something to support the fact. I've seen far too many cases of people copying and pasting from an un-sourced tree and then someone else copies that and then someone... well, you get the idea. Will I make a mistake, sure, but I try my hardest not to.

Sorry about the delay, Michael Dwyer photo is on the memorial. The writing is really tricky to read since the marker is so light. I hate to put photos down if there is any question,it's easy to get goofed info.
I don't know the Parnell area. Iowa was on my genealogy trip next one is Ottawa, family research is never done.I'm from mn.

AS always Sarah your efforts are appreciated

I have updated the Memorial for Deborah Cushing 1801-1802 per your request.

I was wandering around St. Joseph's cemetary and didn't want to post this photo until I let you know. The Michael J Dwyer that you are requesting is listed at 1878 as date of birth and not 1873, but his spouse is the Mary A of 1872-1910. I am not sure if you would still like the 1878 photo?

Sarah I would manually remove the transcript pages if I managed the memorials but since I transferred a lot of them to you its more tedious to find them. If you would be so kind as to let me know as you see them and I will delete the images. Thanks for the awesome photos you have added! Jim
Transfer has been made.

My pleasure, Sarah. No headstones there. Plaques!
Sarah thank you for helping with the Margaret confusion. I have disconnected my Margaret Morse Dawdy from Margaret Morse LeBarons parents , John and Elizabeth Clark Morse - I have sent request to graver Caryn who manages Elizabeth Clarks memorial to also remove Elizabeth Morse - 1870, from Elizabeth Clarks memorial ..

I have sent emails to my Dawdy cousin to see what we can find on Margaret Morse .. I will email you asap when I can share valid info to hopefully detangle this.
