FAG (FindAGrave) is a GRAVE REGISTRATION site, not a family tree site. |
1)please read the FAQs
2)It is not necessary to manage a memorial. What is important is that the info is there to find. Rather than ask for a transfer, consider making virtual cemeteries for your ancestors/relatives.
3)Owners will update memorials if you ask. It is your responsibility to suggest a correction/ addition (submit a SAC) the proper way. Read the FAQs. Requests not made correctly or left on this page will be DELETED.
5)You may add pictures yourself to any memorial by clicking on Add Photo.
6)If you use pictures from FAG, please consider all the work the person has done to get that picture and cite him/her as the source, ie: photo by Elsie Scharpf Saar (for mine), or you will be violating copyright laws.
Please follow the guidelines and we'll all have a wonderful experience. Have fun searching this site.

Thank you so much for your trouble in finding the graves of the Jones family in Chatham Rural Cemetery. When you live at the other end of the pond these things are not easy to access.
Your efforts are hugely appreciated.

Thank you so much for the photo of the Allen's. It has led me in new directions, so thank you.

Sorry, just saw this was a Kenyon family. Please disregard my previous message....... Thanks for the photos anyway.

Thanks for taking the photo. Can I ask, did you get photos of the other sides of the monument? These are obviously all children - who were the parents? Thanks!

Elsie, many thanks for posting all the photos. If you live in the area of Alford or are planning a trip there, could you look for the cemetery that I posted at this Memorial# 114279889. When we were there in May I tried several times to try to locate it on the West Rd, but no luck. I have since found out that the (DAR) survey that included what I call the Holmes Cemetery was done in 1936, so it may be totally gone. I wrote what I learned about the Holmes plot on the info for that cemetery. Just click on the name Holmes to go to it. The Bakers are my ancestors, so if you could find the cemetery & headstones, I would be most appreciative. Sharon
