I first started posting only ancestors here on Find A Grave. It soon expanded to friends and strangers. My theory is; someone might be looking for them even if they are not in my family tree. |
Please feel free to contact me about any of the memorials I have posted. I would love to talk to others in my family tree. I am also willing to help the ancestors of the strangers I have posted with any additional information I might have.

|Good Oman||Bush Creek Cemetery|
Hi, Do you live close to the Bush Creek Cemetery?
|Mary Smith||First born for David and Philipena Piper|
Looking at your information for Philipena Piper (Memorial# 50255632), it is the same as mine but the first born is not listed. Her name is Mary Lavina Piper, born 28 August 1851 in Hollowayville, Illinois (Bureau County). She died 28 February, 1937 in Princeton, Illinois (Bureau County). She was buried 3 March 1937 in Indiantown Twp, Bureau, Illinois. This is from family records. Mary Lavina Piper is my great grandmother. Can you add Mary Lavina to the list of children?

Lenora, in about a week I will be in Illinois trying to find this cemetery. You have been there, and I hope you can help me with some directions as to how to get there. PLEASE ADVISE.

|JPM IV||Levi and Levi|
Lenora, this Levi Long is the son of Elial Long (Find A Grave Memorial# 123605062) and Mary Ann Wallace. He is NOT the son of the Levi Long 1779-1851. Please can you help me fix this? It is important to me that this is right.

|Gerald Freeman||John Freiman|
John Freiman is my 3RD great grandfather. I am looking for someone to transcribe the writing on his tombstone. It is illegible from the photo.
I can translate german to english if necessary.
Thank you in advance.
I am researching the Bruer family for a student of mine, and I found what looks to be your Helen Bruer living in Hennepin, Putnam, Illinois in the 1910 census. This doesn't fit with your death year for her of 1901. She is listed in the census as being a widow, age 65, born about 1845 in Germany, immigrated 1854. She has the following people living with her:
Son, Henry J. Bruer, age 30
Son, Frank W. Bruer, age 24
Grandson, Frank J. Lindemeyer, age 17
Grandson, Henry M. Bruer, age 4
Do you think this is your Helen and that she didn't die in 1901? Also, I was curious about where you found her maiden name and photo.

I noticed that some one else created a memorial for this same individual (148364030). They only have a picture of the cemetery - I like that you have the tombstone.
Do you know if there is any way to combine 2 memorials for the same person?
Thank you - Barb
|Anita Rodgers||Name Spelling|
The name on Raymond Muratori Memorial is misspelled as Muratora - Very plain on the monument.

Hello, I notice that you are posting Bertha Woodend Meadowcraft to have been placed in Miller cemetery, based on the obituary posted, but shje is really in Peru City Cemetery with her husband, Russell. These people are my wife's grandparents....notice, if you look at Russell's memorial that the last name spellings on the stones are Meadowcroft and Meadowcraft....imagine being the one delivering the latter stone and noticing the former stone's spelling....oops!?!? Regardless, might you be able to change cemeteries at this point to reflect the real location? Thanks, Scott Seymour.

I would appreciate it if you could transfer maintenance to me. John is my great-grandfather.
