Bio and Links
Bio Photo Genealogy helps restore the many pieces of the puzzle regarding family connections. Life is defined by the dash between our birth and the time we go to meet our Heavenly Father God.

I am interested in the "dashes" between my ancestors' birth and death beginning with those who came in the mid 1600s - 1700s: The White family, who came on the first Mayflower voyage and settled in Plymouth, MA. Then the line of families including:Rowe, Brainerd-Brainard and Collins from England; Nicol- Scotland and Wheelers, who first settled in Massachusetts, Connecticut,Rhode Island & St. Lawrence County, New York and then settled in Iowa, also the Quaker families of Knowles and Wilber (from NY to Iowa). The Peckenpaughs and Steibers from Germany, and then those who came in the 1800s and settled in Wisconsin, Iowa and South Dakota - Childs from England, Steiber from Prussia, Nold from Switzerland, Reiersons and Hauge from Norway, and Nicholas from Wales; Lastly those who came in 1898...from Denmark namely Christensen/Walther side and Nelsens and those from Sweden, Larsson, Nelson, and Carlson families who settled in South Dakota, Minnesota and North Dakota.

"Not to know what
happened before we were
born is to remain perpetually
a child. For what is the worth
of a human life unless it is
woven into the life of our ancestors by the records of history"

-Cicero (106-43 B.C.)

Henry Lambert
Evelyn - Henry is my great-great grandfather, buried about 5 miles from where I grew up, and his daughter Eliza Lambert Pollard is my great-grandmother, buried about a 1 mile from where I grew up. How are you related? I would love to add more family history if you have it available.

RE: DeForest Wilber posting
You're welcome, Evelyn. I have not come across any other photos with the Wilber name on them. Unfortunately, there are several photos without names listed on the backside. If I come across any in the future, I'll keep you in mind.

RE: Pic. request DeForest Wilber
Hi Evelyn,

The photo was in my great grandmother's, Grace (Briggs) Huntley's family photo collection. Grace was the daughter of Elizur and Martha (Depew/Depue) Briggs, granddaughter of Charles and Fannie (Depew/Depue) Briggs.

I scanned the original photo and added the text to the face of the photo. I've worked with digitizing and restoring photos for a few years.

It was so nice to have these family photos passed on to me. I knew if they meant a lot to me that other unknown relatives would appreciate them as well. It's good to share.

Does your Collins line go back to Henry and Ann Riall Collins, Sr.?

Hi Evelyn,
I have added the photo to DeForest's memorial. He and Fannie were the parents of Melville and Anna.
Take care, Teresa

Constance Renee "Connie" Christensen Albin
Hi, my name is Mary and I'm in the process of trying to take photos of all of the graves at Sunset Hills. I checked with the cemetery office for the location of Constance's grave and they did not find a record of her burial. Are you certain that she is buried there?

If you are sure, I will go back to the office and see if they can find her misfiled somewhere.

Thanks and have a nice day.
