|Family genealogist. Just doing memorials for my direct lineage currently.|
My memorials will change as I update info. Copy at your own risk. What is on them now, may be different tomorrow. IF I find something is wrong, I correct it. If you find something incorrect, please let me know.
Thanks to my sisters, also Karon Dunafin, Chris Yoder and Valarie Bunn, for attaching photos for me.
I am currently trying to get all the family members connected on Find A Grave.
Descendent of John Leader, Edward Garfield. Thomas Seamans, Thomas Touchette, Lewis Jones, John "The Puritan" Bridge, Nicholas Danforth, Joseph Carder, Matthew Herington, Wm Hunter, John "The Progenitor" Wilson, John Kenyon and Jacques Archambault, etc.
Doing genealogy is a passion. It takes hundreds of hours, thousands of miles, and much patience waiting for that "one" record to show up.
When using "family history" books, please do your own research. While these books are valuable resources, most have many flaws. I have 5 books, and if I had believed some of them, I would not have had ancestors to get me here today.
My paternal Grandparents have incredible family histories. My Grandmother's family dates back to 15 founding fathers of Middlesex county, Massachusetts.
My Grandfather's Father's family dates back to the 1630's New France (Canada) and his Mother's family to the Mayflower.

Thanks for your note.... it is obvious that the memorial in Woonsocket for him is a cenotaph, so I designated the memorial as such. To avoid double links, I removed the parent links... but I did create an HTML link in the cenotaph memorial to point to yours.
|Karen Hanna||photo request for Ocean View|
Ocean View Burial Park, owned by Diginity Memorial, is a privately owned cemetery. Dignity Memorial will not give information to a third party, you must be a relative. They feel that they could be sued for release of private information. I have the email to prove this!!!!!
If you contact their office (through email) and request their location I would take a photo for you. They would be willing to do a lookup if the request came from a family member. If you cannot figure out your connection, say you are a cousin.
Once you have the location just enter it into the memorial page and it will show on the photo request.
then choose Other Requests
|Debby ||Wilson Family Tree|
What a wonderful gift you have given our Wilson family! I thought that I had all there was to be found, but then I found so much more. Thank-you seems inadequate, but a huge thank-you it is!

|Janet McBride||RE: Alton Brownell|
Alton married my GGrandfather's sister Elizabeth Shumaker on 4 July 1881, Saugatuck, I think. John Shumaker married Eva Huggins the same day.
Recently I went to the Jewett/Fairfield/Brownell Cemetery on 122nd Ave near the Dumont Road in Monterey Twp, Allegan Michigan and while it is not marked you can still walk the small hilltop near where the Poor Farm used to be and there are still some Brownell stones there.
If you want to pull up my Huggins/Shumaker Tree you can see the Civil War paper I found on Ancestry. I think it is in reference to his pension or something like that.
|Janet McBride||RE: Clara Belle Shumaker|
William Wilson and Mary Schumacker: Can you give me the name of the child and his/her DOB/DOD? If they are still living and some from that far back are still alive...I will wait until you are okay with letting me know who this person is.
By the way... you probably saw on my Shumaker Tree that there is a child from Clara Belle Shumaker and Isaac Albert Haus (not sure of spelling on thia one)
born Sept 15 1921, in Washtenaw co MI as they had a Single women's maternity home there and he was put up for adoption and raised by a very nice family.
My husband's last name is McBride but we only have his half-sister as a blood relative to the name McBride...long story there, so we really don't have any connection to that name. It's kinda strange as so many people ask us, but it is what it is.
Thanks for clearing that up for me

Would you mind sharing your source(s) for her date of death and burial place? She is my 5th great-grandmother
|LaVonne Eckstrom||RE: William E. O'Brien|
