Hi! This is my gggreat-uncle. Wondering if you would be willing to transfer this memorial, as I'm trying to link the family? If not, would you be willing to add links & bio? Thanks!

Hey Rich ~
Thanks for the picture of Emma! We'll accept your edits too. Where did you find the Merlau info? They are pretty closely related to us!
Thanks again ~

Rich, you are very welcome. Missouri is the only state I have found that let's you can view and print death certificates free of charge (1910 to 1963, they add another year each year).
I see that you have a special interest in the Civil War. I would appreciate any info you could give me to research someone. My great great grandfather, James Robinson, died in the Civil War but I don't know where or any other info about him except that he was born in 1824, married in Indiana on May 28, 1845 to Sarah Ann McConnell and that they were still in Indiana in 1853. I do know that Sarah and the children were in Missouri in 1870, but don't know when they came here and if James was with them when they did. If you have any suggestions, please let me know. Kathy
The website for death certificates is sos.mo.gov/archives
Hello, you have a Michigan Civil War picture under his memorial - Find A Grave Memorial# 95043576. I'm not aware of him having served in the Civil War. He was from Canada and was having children there from 1863-1871 at least. Wondering why you think he was in Company D, 6th Michigan Calvary?? Am I missing something here?? Thanks :)

You have a special niche here on Find a Grave with the work you do to honor the Vets. I applaud your efforts Richard to honor them for the hardships they endured as our country was torn apart. Keep it up! It's greatly appreciated!

Thank you so much for all of your hard work that you did on his memorial. Its so wonderful how you are honoring our Military service men and women. So many get forgotten.
