|I have been doing genealogy for over 20 years. My family, in the U.S., started in MA. and spread throughout the U.S. I am originally from CT. and now living in S.C. I have extensive research material on the William Miller and Patience (maybe Bacon) family and their descendants. I work as a network person in the computer industry.|
Please feel free to use any picture I have taken and posted on F.A.G. for legal purposes.

|Carol Froehlich||Mabel Toye West|
In response to your question (below) about Mabel Toye West. I'm sorry I don't know her. I just took the picture and posted the entry. I didn't realize it was a duplicate. I'll take care of that.
Mabel Toye West. I noticed that this is a duplicate and should be removed. But that is not the reason I am writing. I have a picture of a Mabel Toye from Winona MN. dated Sept. 1899. I'm not sure if this is the correct Mabel or not that you have here. Do you know if she had a sister and if so what the name of the sister would be? Do you have a picture of her that we could compare to see if they are the same person?
|Mary Jane (Meroney) Taylor||RE: James Lloyd Maroney/Meroney|
this is my 3rd great grandfather and I feel that he and his wife are probably buried in unmarked graves in South Carolina- I have actually searched more than 400 cemeteries in Greenville Co South Carolina
His father, Capt Philip Duval Maroney/Meroney of the Revolutionary War 33170077 is recorded by you
I just thought that if you have his memorial posted that you might have some information on his son James Lloyd Maroney who was married to Mary Alice Edwards
It is amazing to me that I have complete information on the 5 generations leading up to him plus a lot on his father, Capt Philip Maroney/Meroney but he has turned out to be a road block in my research

I am trying to locate the grave of my 3rd great grandfather, but have not been able to tie him in to his father, Capt Philip Maroney/Meroney. I would really appreciate it you have any information on him that I can use for the DAR application.

Thank you for your recommendation to delete the duplicate memorial. I have contacted the original creator and asked for a transfer for my ancestor, but to no avail. That's fine. However, they were flat rude when I requested factual updates be made to the memorial. They flat told me no, despite documentary evidence. If they are not going to keep memorials updated, and not open to suggestions for corrections, then I would suggest contacting them and requesting them to take theirs down, if they are not willing to undertake the effort to maintain their memorials. Thank you for your suggestion just the same, I appreciate it.

|Catherine Garrett||Capt Philip D Maroney|
Dear Mr. Miller:
Thank you for your information concerning Capt Maroney. In my research for DAR lineage proof, I was thrilled to come across this valuable website and its photos. I am a descendant of Capt Maroney on my maternal grandmother's side--he is my fifth great-grandfather. Perhaps we can exchange more information in the future. Thank you again for your work.
|Sirruia4||RE: Margaret Miller|
Sorry, I'm speaking about Margaret Miller (1898-1991). I saw a picture of her grave, that has your name as photographer. The grave is located in Parkwood Cemetery in Baltimore, MD.
