GENEALOGY - Where you confuse the dead and irritate the living.
=========================

Now, some food for thought...

Next time you're feeling rather unimportant, try a little arithmetic trick based on the undebatable fact that it took two people, your parents, to get you here. Each of your parents has two parents, so in the generation just prior to that of your mother and father, there were four people whose pairing off and sharing love contributed to your existence.
You are the product of eight great-grandparents, 16 great-great-grandparents, 32 great-great-great-grandparents, etc. Keep on multiplying the number by two. If you figure an average of about 25 years between each generation, you'll discover in a scant 500 years ago, there were 1,048,576 people on this planet beginning the production of you.

RE: Compton headstones!
Thank you so much for looking up that marriage date. I couldn't find it, so this was very useful. I appreciate your help.

Thank You so very much for taking those pictures for me. It is way too hot and too far away just to take a photo. Thank you again.

Seymour markers
Thank you for the excellent photo of Digby Seymour's marker.

Did you also happen to find the marker of his wife, Josephine and daughter, Frances? If you have time, could you take a photo of their markers as well? I would be forever grateful!
