Our names are David 'DJ' & Judi. We live in Northwest Tennessee but have a great amount of family from Tallahatchie County, Mississippi.|
We have taken a great interest in finding out about family ancestors and preserving cemeteries digitally for future generations.
TRANSFERS: Please go to the memorial you wish to have transferred and request a transfer from there. If you want to manage a relatives memorial, please let us know and we will be glad to transfer it to you (except our own relatives). From the FAQ: Fourth, Explain your relationship in the request! While I do transfer out of guidelines, please let me know your relationship to the person in the memorial, not just "They're a relative."
Find A Grave rules on:
"Is it acceptable to add a memorial for someone who is still living?
Please try to avoid it. In general, we do not encourage adding memorials for individuals who are still living. We do realize, however, that when transcribing a cemetery, it is not always possible to determine if the person is living or not. Please do not add pre-need memorials from (1925-present) to Find A Grave. Memorials for individuals who are alive will be removed when requested (the exception being for 'famous' individuals who already have a burial location in place). You are always welcome to create a 'pre-need' memorial for yourself, if you would like, provided that you have a pre-need headstone already in place in a cemetery."

First, let me say that I'm extremely grateful for all that you've done. It's been a great comfort to me and many others. And now, concerning the subject memorial, I believe that A. J. Binkley is my great grandmother. It seems logical since my Binkley grandparents are buried at Palestine Cemetery, that my great grandparents might be also, but since Thomas J. has no marker either, and in the case of A. J., I'm not even sure of the gender; I thought you might direct me to the source of your information. I know you're very busy, but if you can find the time, I'd very much appreciate it.

Listed in Concord Cemetery in Lauderdale County, TN are Lemons and White graves. John Rufus and Geraldine Lemons are my husband's parents. Geraldine Lemons' maiden name was White. Her parents were John Wesley White and Callie B. White. I have done extensive research on both the Lemons and White families. I would like to have all the appropriate relationships added to their memorials. I can send the information to you for you to add or you can transfer all the White and Lemons graves to me and I will add the information.

Your record 119064665 Purvine Cloninger, is this person related to you? If so I am also related to you through his mother. His mother and my great grandfather were brother and sister.
|Sandie Schwarz||Wilhelm Huff|
Hello, Wilhelm Huff's correct date of birth, is 12 August 1820, per church/civil records from Germany, (son of Maximillian Huff and Anna Maria Esser). If you would like further information in regards to this, please contact me!
|Robert Gray||Ashmore family in Ark|
I am related to the Ashmore Family. Noticed Joshua Bloomer Ashmore Sr. show up on Find a Grave.com but a cemetery is not listed. Is he buried in the Old Baptist Church in Pope County Arkansas? If not do you know where he is buried?
I am 68 years old. When I was 19 I lived near Blytheville Ark.
|Sandie Schwarz||Katharine Freund Huff|
Hello, I see that you are the great great granddaughter of Katherine Freund Huff (Wilhelm Huff). I have them in my maternal family data base, and I have a note for Wilhlem, saying that Katherine may have been his second wife/marriage? Would you have any info in regards to this? This was written in a bio in our McHenry County History: Per McHenry County in the 20th Century, bio's :
"Family legend says that Katrina was Wilhelms second wife, which may explain the birthdate of daughter Anna Maria, however no documented proof of this has ever been found." I have her parents as Stephen FREUND and Anna SHAFFER, your 3x great-grandparents, and Wilhelm's parents, Maximillian Huff and Anna ________ ?
Hi! I am wondering if you are related to a Nancy Cloninger? She married a Samuel Langford and they resided in Barton, Indiana in 1880. I do not know her parent's names. Any info would be appreciated. I am their ggg-granddaughter.

My married name is Huff. In searching the Huff name our line came from Germany in 1836 and settled in Tuscawarus county, Ohio. From there one son Henry came to Indiana. Hope this helps. Barb
