Bio and Links
Bio Photo For as long as I can remember my family has routinely visited our local cemetery. Young and old attend to the graves of our ancestors and reflect on those various individuals that have touched our lives. It seems to be a way for the adults to keep those departed individuals fresh in their memories and serves as an opportunity to pass on family history to younger family members. In our case, the cemetery is a very park like setting, located on a lake shore, and is a very pleasant place to visit.

Over the years I have found that cemeteries are an excellent place to take break as I travel. It's a chance to get out of the vehicle for a while, take a walk in a quiet setting, and to learn a little about the local area. Now, as I make these stops, I try to take random photos of headstones that provide a cross-section of those who are laid to rest there.

It is my hope that the photos and information posted to Find-A-Grave will be of interest to individuals who are working to document local or family histories. Please feel free to contact me if you spot any errors in my postings or if you have photos or information you would like me to add

Eliza Izard Pinckney
Just a quick question. How did you know that Eliza Izard Pinckney (#13694396) was the daughter of Ralph Izard (#6915033) and Alice DeLancey Izard (#42626758)? I'm doing some genealogical research and would just like to know if you came across any strong evidence to support this claim. Thank you for any information you can provide.

A friend told me about this change a couple days after this was deployed. I have sent an edit/s to you so I thought maybe you didn't know about it. You might want to pass it on to your friends. thanks!!! ~Peggy

New "Automated" system for "Suggest a Correction/Submit an Edit"

******Please Note******
New System for Memorial Edits deployed by FindAGrave on 12/5/2013

Go to your Contributor/Profile page. Look in the upper right corner. You should now see a tab called "Edits" - check there to see if any have been submitted to you. Then just review and accept.

Way easier for doing updates to names/dates/places/plot numbers/links. If you don't approve within 21 days it will automatically accept it.

You still will get e-mails to add info to bio section.

Thomas H Lutsey memorials
Please be advised you created two memorials for the same person (#17884063 and #17884066), Thomas Henry Lutsey, in Rest Haven Cemetery, Shawano Co., MI. One has him connected to his parents, the other to his wife and children, so if you delete the one without the gravestone photo (#1774063) you will want to recreate the links to his parents found on that memorial.

duplicate memorial page
i would suggest you remove # 21541201 as it seems to be a duplicate memorial page.

Tinsley and extended families
Thank you John for your dedication to Find A Grave. You will never know how much it means to people like me who can never visit our extended families graves to be able to see their memorials on Find A Grave through efforts of people like you.
I hope it is permissible for me to use your photos to copy to my Ancestry and Family TreeMaker files. I am trying so hard to get a good record for my extended family now and in years to come, to find their heritage. I am 87 now and know that I need to hurry to get as much as I can done.
Thank you once more.
