Please use the new EDIT system to submit factual updates and family links.|
If you would like to use any photo that I have taken, please request my permission first! I do not need credit, but I do ask that you respect my time and efforts in obtaining and editing the photos.
I am a VERY active member on here. Generally any edit request that I receive is processed within 24 hrs. or less
I am more than happy to transfer any memorial that I have created (except my family) if the request is within FaG guidelines.
I will consider transfers that are outside FAG
guidelines but will do so at my discretion.
To request a transfer, please make sure that you submit your request by clicking on the EDIT tab on the memorial and then select Suggest any other correction or addition. Please make sure to state your relationship, reason for transfer and include your contributor ID.
I try really hard to make sure that I do not duplicate any memorial already on Find A Grave. If you come across a memorial that I have duplicated please let me know.

Thank you for the heads up. I'll check with the funeral home to see which is the correct cemetery.

|Mike Jaska||RE: Walter Jeschke|
Thanks for enlightening me on non-burial memorials. I will cease and desist making those memorials. I have used Family Search to add information such as was submitted to you on Werner Jeschke which popped up as I found Laura Bubert was a "Jaska". I check pretty closely, and thus the determination that she was a Jeschke rather than a Jaska.
I have found other close names like Finnish Jaaska and German Jaschka which were recorded as Jaska.
I am trying to run down leads and I have made numerous suggestions, corrections, and the like for existing memorials.
I will return to doing that. I appreciate you schooling me.

Thank you for pointing out that the edit feature supports relationship links. I don't think it did at first, or I may have missed it. At any rate, I'll now take care of the relationship links that way from now on.

I received an automatic reply from Find-a-Grave; I think it was from you because your name is linked: "Not sure how this photo request dated August 9, 2012 is just now showing up on May 11, 2014. I'm guessing it's a glitch with the Find A Grave server or something like that. At any rate this photo request was fulfilled 5-8-14. I am deleting the request for this reason."
I think I know the glitch. Back in August 2012 I requested someone to find and photograph a gravestone for Frank Caraway which I believed to be in Clarendon Cemetery (Texas). This weekend I was able to attach a photo of the tombstone to his memorial, and the cemetery is actually in Cleburne, Johnson County. Maybe my completing the connection alerted the system. Regardless, I am grateful to whoever took the photo. Thanks for your efforts in helping other genealogists find their ancestors.
