I have been doing genealogy for many many years and really like findagrave.com. I used to do just my own family but now do cemeteries where ever we go. If someone sees anything that is wrong or if you have anything to offer please contact me as I would be glad to help.|
Use the edit function for transfers. Include your contributor number so I get the right person.
Find-A-Grave guidelines for transfer requests are for direct relatives (spouse, siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents). If you are requesting a transfer, please be specific about your relationship. I generally will not transfer aunts, uncles or cousins. I am not willing to transfer my family members, but I will be happy to add information to their memorials.
I have no objection to transferring memorials of your close relatives. Please be sure to tell me the relationship. I will no longer transfer memorials to someone asking for all memorials of a surname to be transferred to them.
There are lots of new members requesting transfers who are managing many more memorials than they have posted. Please keep in mind that this web site won't work if you aren't willing to go out and gather information that might help someone else!

Just wanted to tell you that I love the picture on your bio....beautiful :-)
Merry Christmas to you & yours,
|Carol Livingston||James M. Olds|
James Malcolm Olds parents are: Alphonzo and Rachel (Goldsberry) Olds. Rachel and Martha were sisters. Since the Minnesota death records only show the maiden name, not first names I can see where this would seem possible. James is listed in the 1910 and 1920 census with Alphonzo. Martha and James Olds had no sons named James. I can find no burial for Rachel who was alive in 1940 in Ramsey Co., Mn. Thanks for all your work. It is greatly appreciated by all who use it. Carol Livingston.

Hello, I am seeking permission to include the pics you've taken of the Buchite family headstones to my family tree. I would of course credit you as the source. Thank you for your consideration

|Wall of Mirrors||Sallie Wynn # 40192460|
Hello Jim, someone has posted a headstone photo on the memorial for Sallie Wynn #40192460. The headstone reads that Sallie is the wife of J.L. Wynn, but Jack L. Wynn is linked as Sallie's father. Sallie Wynne is documented as marrying James A. Wall in Elmore County, Alabama, on 29 Oct 1893. The Will of James' father, George T. Wall, probated in Elmore County, Alabama, documents James and Sallie's address as Louisiana. Either way, the headstone and the memorial aren't supporting each other, would you please check it out? Thanks!

Hi, I was wondering if you wouldn't mind retaking the photo of his headstone, you took the original one Oct. 9, 2010. There was a misprint on his headstone which has been fixed & his wife has also passed. His Memorial is 37379089. Her's is 136841448, if you could also had the photo to her memorial it would be great appreciated. If this is an inconvenience, will you please let me know. Thank you in advance.
I have requested pictures of Vernon & Jean Ledoux
gravestones and the volunteers reported they needed locations. I have called and gotten the location and thought maybe you would add the info to Find a Grave.
Vernon location is Lot 194....Block 2...Section 2...grave #2.
Jean Ledoux is Lot 194...Block 2...Section 2..grave #1
Thank you for your help and hoping this will help with the pictures for the volunteers. I appreciate the information you have added.
