I have been doing genealogy for many many years and really like findagrave.com. I used to do just my own family but now do cemeteries where ever we go. If someone sees anything that is wrong or if you have anything to offer please contact me as I would be glad to help.|
Use the edit function for transfers. Include your contributor number so I get the right person.
Find-A-Grave guidelines for transfer requests are for direct relatives (spouse, siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents). If you are requesting a transfer, please be specific about your relationship. I generally will not transfer aunts, uncles or cousins. I am not willing to transfer my family members, but I will be happy to add information to their memorials.
I have no objection to transferring memorials of your close relatives. Please be sure to tell me the relationship. I will no longer transfer memorials to someone asking for all memorials of a surname to be transferred to them. There are lots of new members requesting transfers who are managing many more memorials than they have posted. Please keep in mind that this web site won't work if you aren't willing to go out and gather information that might help someone else!

my photo request for Stuart and Marie. Good Job!
|Carolyn Bircher||Anna Finnegan|
I'm Carolyn Bircher (#46991396). Thank you for adding my husband's grandmother, Anna Finnegan (#155871490). I'm impressed at how thorough you were. I've just uploaded a photo of Annie's grave. Would it be possible for me to manage her entry so I could add more info for her? Could I also do the same for her husband, Daniel Finnegan and son Walter Finnegan. We just interred Walter's wife, Margarie at Holy Cross.

Penny, Thank you so much for the grave search of the Rutz.

I understand what you're doing. It would be helpful for those researching her family history, but I'm not sure how she would feel about a memorial being set up before her passing. I haven't been in touch with her for awhile. I'll see if I can contact her. My husband is a cousin of hers on her Schily branch. Sharon

Thank you for adding my maternal grandmother's uncle (James Joseph Maher) #156625457. My mom and myself have being looking for him for over 5 years. Will send some edits. I know for a fact he was born in 1964 between January to June. One of his siblings was born on April of 1965. Enjoy rest of your weekend.

Thank you so much for going to Athol Cemetery for the Rutz & Carroll photos of their graves. Even if Annie Rutz & her son John have no grave stones, would you take a photo of where they are buried. As we will never get up there.

Thank you for finding him. We have been searching for decades. He was my dad's brother.
