|PLEASE USE THE NEW EDIT FEATURES:|
on the edit tab, you'll see this menu, click on the link, and fill in the blank. This submits the information so I can do a one click approval of your request. This is a new feature, and with volumes of requests, I find myself needing you to do this part of the work.
Birth and death dates and locations
Corrections and bio information will be added if you send it to me. Generally I do the edits the same day you send them to me. I get so many that I generally don't reply, but rest easy - I will do them.
I'll absolutely transfer memorials to relatives - I firmly believe that relatives should control their family's memorials. I generally extend the transfers to the slightest family relationship, going way past Find A Grave's rules.
I generally don't honor non-family requests. If you want to customize a friend's memorial, please do so - you don't need to control the memorial to add pictures and information. If its something that I have to add, edit or link, I'm absolutely cooperative for these things.
To the "memorial collector" types - if you are a solid contributor who volunteers your time taking photos and adding records, you would get special consideration on non-family requests.
Thank-you to those of you who have gone the extra mile for me. I respect and admire you for taking the time to do a favor for my family and I.

|Frankie Dissinger||Clara Anna Swinney Orr|
Anna was my grandmother. Her correct date of death is 17 August 1977. She died in Chanute, Neosho County, KS and is buried in Buffalo Cemetery, Buffalo, Wilson County, KS. The date of her death is wrong on the Find-A-Grave memo.
I am the daughter of Frank and Ann's 4th child, Hazel Rutha Orr Dissinger. My name is Frankie Katherine Dissinger. Thanks for all the work you do in area cemeteries!

Dirk - I am so sorry. I am so used to all his memorials in that cemetery dating back to 2002 or earlier that I forgot to check the date. I will let him know so he can move his photo over to yours and delete his.

Thank you for your quick reply and suggestions.
Would you consider transferring oseph's memorial to me.
I'm curious to know where you are located? You seem to have taken photos over a fairly wide area.

First off I want to thank you for setting up the memorial for Joseph A. Williams He was my grandfather.
He was killed in the line of duty during the 1919 hurricane which struck the Texas coast just south of Corpus Christi, Texas. He was an Assistant Oyster Fish and Game Commissioner (modern day Game Warden). He was Captain of an enforcement boat stationed at Port Aransas. Family stories say he and his assistant Harry Raymond had been rescuing people off the surrounding islands and had anchored their boat for the storm but as the storm rose both went back to put out more anchors to secure the boat. Both were washed overboard and were drowned. Joseph was buried on the beach with hundreds of others I have an affidavit identifying the body.
A few years ago I contacted the state to see if they could tell me where he was buried. All the could say was thatt all of the bodied that were buried at the beach were removed sometime after the storm but there were no records as to what cemeteries they were taken to.
I want to thank you again.

Thank you so much for the pictures of my cousins' headstones. Your work keeping these memorials up to date is really appreciated.
Thank you so much Dirk! We are so excited to have this picture to show our children their ancestry! Getting the information on his wife Guadalupe was wonderful.
Because you told me to call the cemetery we now have copies of both obituaries which we could not locate beforehand. Thank you again for all your help.
