I have been searching for family since 1975.My Dad's people are most all from Morgan co Tenn. Sir names are White,Price, Von Faustner/Forstner, Woolum, Freytag, Bryant, Hall. Sir name White I have no idea where they came from. Have Native American heritage with White and Hall. Von Faustner/Forstner is German as is Freytag, Woolum maybe yes maybe not. White sir name is also in Macoupin Co Ill along with the sir name of Weatherford from Kentucky. Hall,Price and White also in Osage co Miss. My Mom's people are from mostly Pulaski Co, Ky. Newby, Wise, Wiseman. My husbands people are from Alabama,Walton co, Fla. Davis. I was born in Danville, Ky but lived in Somerset,Ky and later moved to Orlando, Florida. Now in Tennessee and loving to be back in my mountains. I have a ton of grave stone pictures waiting to be posted. Hope they are a help to all. Please feel free to let me know about corrections. I post late at night and sometimes get them wrong. Will transfer unless it is my kin, but will be glad to post any verified information. I DO NOT MIND HELPING ANYONE WHO ASKS. BUT WHEN YOU DO ASK ME OR ANYONE ELSE PLEASE LIST ALL THE INFORMATION THAT YOU HAVE BEEN ABLE TO FIND. THAT WAY I AM NOT WAISTING MY TIME AND YOURS LOOKING FOR SOMETHING THAT YOU ALREADY HAVE. I HAVE HAD THIS HAPPEN SEVERAL TIMES. J

RE: William Lee Davidson
Since I wrote about this, I found something that may be of interest. Based on the comments you posted on his possible burial site, I found the Hall cemetery information was recently added. You may be interested in seeing memorial #145558196 for William Lee Davidson Hall.

RE: 1933
Also the Alter/Walter that is on the same headstone with Leonard was born in 1895. Leonard was born in 1897. So no way this could be Leonard's son. I checked a transcription of the cemetery that was done in 1999 and the name was listed as Alter. No W. And there was no listing in the cemetery for a Walter. There were several graves on the rows where the Woolum where that only had "unknown" on their marker. Please keep me posted on your findings, so I can be sure I post the correct pictures with the correct name thanks

RE: 1933
I re-checked the dates on Alter's request it stated 1-23-1895 as birth date and on Walters 3-23-1895 so this would have made Alter only 3 months old when he was born. Now I'm really confused. I really don't see a W on the headstone and could her birth month be 3 instead of 1? Please let me know I am not going to delete the photo from Alter's until we figure this out. Thanks hope I'm not confusing you!!

RE: 1933
Sorry but I am a little confused on these headstones. I thought the one with Leonard was his wife Alter. I couldn't see the W and there was no request for a Walter So I took the photo thinking it was her so I didn't look anymore for her. I posted the 2 for Walter and I will delete the ones on hers. I don't remember another one being there for another Woolum, but if I'm back down that way I will check for hers. I guess it was him and his son that died on the same day. Sorry for the mix up but all of the headstones were almost unreadable

RE: Woolum
I also noticed that Leonard and his wife Alter both died on 11-24-1933. That is unusual

RE: Woolum
Your welcome and I live about 20 minute drive from the cemetery. I had never been there. It was a nice little graveyard, but most time the family graves are all together but these were scattered in several different places. I did notice that today is Martha's birthday. She would have been 157 years old

There was also a headstone for Homer Woolum with the other Woolum headstones, but I didn't see a request for it. I took a picture if you want it posted some where. He only lived about 1 month

RE: Clinton Scott
I didn't know the Scott family very well. Clint's wife Virginia was my step-mother's sister. Do you know his son's name?
