Most of the memorials I created, I did back in 2007, taking their name, dates, burial place from a Brown County, Kansas cemetery list. I'm not doing that anymore as others have taken up that process and are whizzing right thru it. May be close to complete for Brown county. As of late I've been working on updating my memorials one at a time. Looking for their obits, locating them in censuses and linking them to family.|
On another note:
There was a one-page article in the June 2011 issue of National Geographic about the number of people who have ever lived on earth. After much research American demographer Carl Haub estimated that 108 billion people lived (and died) between 50,000 B.C. and 2011.

Just wanted to let you know that you have posted a photo on the mother's file, rather than the daughter's.
On Find A Grave Memorial #19499216, Mary (Heise) Doner, you've tagged a photo of her daughter, Mary Louise (Doner) Wideman - Find A Grave Memorial #26147240. I supplied the copy to David Byer, whom it looks like you got it from. The original was a wedding pic for Ralph & Mary (Doner) Wideman from Boxing Day 1900.
In addition to the pic, you may want to add links, which I am unable to do from this end. So, the daughter Mary Louisa (Doner) Wideman is #26147240. Her mother, Mary E. (Heise) Doner is #19499216. The daughter's husband, Ralph Wideman, is #26147245 & they married 26 Dec 1900. As for the Dad, John B. Doner married Mary E.(Heise) 11 Jun 1878 in Markham, but I have found no grave for him, so I can't link him in. John B. & his 2nd wife, Sarah 'Sadie' (Meyers) Doner were killed in a car accident in California on 01 April, 1936.

Thanks so much, Keith, on behalf of my father, Vincent S. Werner, Missoula, MT.

Fred - I am so sorry that I am just now seeing this and responding and THANKING YOU for your time and effort. This IS my Great Uncle and Aunt and information very much appreciated. My only defense is that my husband, who is now in need of my help pretty much 24 hours each day, leaves me little time for doing the genealogy. I will print and save this information which I could never find on my own. AGAIN - THANK YOU.

You have posted family info on Find A Grave for John B & Margaret Cain from Parnell, IA. Their daughter, Margaret (known as Leona) was my aunt. I have added her as the child of John B and Margaret. For more info check out the Find A Grave memorial for Aunt Leona.
Thank you for all your work to help others find their families.

If you are not a relative I would appreciate it if you would transfer the profile of Jacob Viets # 30447697 to me as I am his great great grand daughter and would be happy to maintain and connect family memorials to him.

I was wondering if you could transfer the Find A Grave for Thomas Jamison and Rebecca Jamison since they are my great grandparents.

|Sharon Patching||RE: Censuses & obit|
I would have never found that obit on Johanna - this is above and beyond what I ever thought - so again Keith - I sure do thank you. I have a request in to the member who set up Frederick's page so that I can connect and do a small bio. Also made a page for Johanna and found his second wife Bertha. It has been a great day. Thanks again.

I believe that you found him for me --- after all of these decades. His son and family moved from South Dakota to IL where they stayed so this must be him - with those dates and location. Keith I sure do thank you. I feel I have FINALLY closed the search no on this branch. Wow - thanks
|Sharon Patching||RE: Johanna|
That is absolutely her and I can't thank you enough - I will set up a page for her. As far as Frederick - I lost track of him so it may be and you have given me something to work from. They only had one son, William Henry who moved to South Dakota, so I assumed that he went to live with them but have not found that - the dates match for what you have found. Again Keith - just can't thank you enough!
