Bio

I enjoy gardening and I am a member of the Mt. Pleasant Iris and Daylily Society of East Texas.
I love photography and use it for both fun and entertainment. Since digital cameras came into use I go crazy with an assortment of subjects. I take tons of photos of my flowers, but I also enjoy photographing birds, horses, almost any form of wildlife, people, but most of all Cemeteries and Tombstones.

I am an Amateur Genealogist with 30 some odd years of research behind me. I took a break of about 5 years and just recently started back up. When I started researching my family lines my mother would get so upset with me. I spent all my free time walking cemeteries, visiting dirty dingy courthouse basements, are just visiting people that I didn't even know to gather old family photos and oral information. Mom always told me I spent more time with dead relatives than I did the live ones.

The day I walked into moms house with not only her mother and father's original marriage license but her grandparents original marriage license is the day that she decided my family research was worth all the hard hours I had put into it. She never complained again and started sharing older stories and folklore with me.

I am a Caregiver by profession and own my own business, Compassion and Grace Services.
I am a Baptist by faith and proclaim Jesus Christ as my savior. He can be yours too!
Hopefully one day my son and daughter will carry on not only my genealogy research for others to enjoy, but my love for the Lord!
