Dear Astrojet,

Bessie Sogolovich (Sondock)
Hi, Astrojet

Bessie was a baby who unfortunately lived less than a year. She was probably buried at Adath Israel Cemetery, but after more than 100 years since her death, the grave marker most likely either disintegrated, or became illegible. Deceased babies and children were traditionally buried in the back of the cemetery section with small, limestone markers. These markers are very susceptible to acid rain and erosion.

Thank you for your effort and time spent trying to find this gravestone.

Sarah C. Myers b. 6/14/1859 d. 12/13/1910 Hollywood Cemetery, Houston Tx. I contacted the cemetery office and they indicated Sarah was buried in Lot 22 in the Highland Meadow section. If you happen to revisit the cemetery could you try again to locate her grave maker. The office was kind enough to mail me a map of how to locate Lot 22...I could email it if I have an email address. Thanks

Thank you so much for the photo. It is the most dreary looking Babyland I have ever seen.

I appreciate all of your wonderful Find A Grave work. You are the best. Best wishes

Hello. Since we know this baby is buried in Babyland, Peaceful Valley, Space 188, in Hollywood Cemetery, can you put down some artificial flowers, etc. and take a photo?

Where did you post the photo of Babyland? I do not see it on Ocie's memorial.

Blessings and best wishes
