As genealogists, we are also inclined to feel as comfortable in a cemetery as in the dark corners of a library doing research. Helping others find their roots in any small way is a joy. One of the biggest breaks we got in one of our family lines came from information found on a cemetery monument. This has become quite a fun hobby for us!!|

|Sandy Baker||Elias A Myers|
I was glad to find Elias in Find a Grave.
He died while serving in Civil War. Elias was the
oldest son of my GGG grandparents James & MaryAnn
(Matthews) Myers. He was living in WY county KS
when he signed up. Many, many thanks to you!
|Mary Ann Loss||Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery|
Hi Ed n Edna, Are you still able to photograph in Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery? A few of us are trying to push to get most of it shot more sooner than later.
I'm really proud of Ken and Walter who are really working hard and have gotten the percentage up to 50 percent shot.
So, if you're willing, I've set up some virtual cemeteries to help organize where we shoot since it's really hard to tell what's already been shot.
We would love to have your help. Thanks so much for all you've done already. Look forward to hearing from you, Mary Ann

Hello, Ed and Edna! I saw that you had posted some photos of Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Jackson Co., MO. My son is doing an Eagle Project and we just got a design approved last night for a bronze plaque/sign for this cemetery - it currently has no sign. Feel free to get in touch with me if you'd like to know more or have any feedback. Leslie :)

Thank you again for taking a picture of H.C Train and family's stone in the Union Cemetery. The stone is now broken in half, the column is off of the lower portion. I did not recognize it when looking for it last Friday. Once again, thank you.
