Flora Butler
Hi there, Do you still have the photograph of Mary F Butler's grave (Section Q, site 147)? If so, could you add it to Flora Butler, same gravesite? Thanks so much, Mary Ann

S. Taylor
You continue to do great work in photographing the memorials at Ft. Leavenworth! Private Taylor's marker touched me, so I did a little bio of his service and sent it off. Thank you for your inspiration, as well as your skills!

Blemner family
Hi Rudolph and Elma Blemner would of been my Grandmas parents. She was Augusta Sonya Hencke when she passed in 1967. I can not find her her husband was Edward George Hencke he died in 1966 and was not picked up so was told after two years was put in scattered garden. So trying to find out where my Grandma went they say the record is hard to read, and that she is not there. I just thought if her parents and husband was there she might be. Her Son that was my Dad was Richard Neal Luzier who passed in 1990. So my Grandmother was married to an Eddy and had my Dad then she married a Thomas Luzier who adopted my Dad. Then she married Edward George hencke. Did not know if you might have any ideas of where she is. I used all of her names and nothing comes up. My Dad was very tight lipped about deaths I found my Mom after 32 years.
If you could help me it would be great.

Thanks
Vicki

Auguste O'Day/John O'Day
Hi there, You were able to add a photo of John O'Day's memorial. Was there a gravestone for his wife Auguste? If not, I'll put a note on her memorial indicating "No stone." I called the cemetery management about a couple of other missing stones/inscriptions for other wives and was told there's a plan for the missing inscriptions. Time will tell. Take good care, Mary Ann

Hi there, Thanks for your continued diligence with taking photos and creating and completing memorials in Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery. Did you notice that the cemetery is at least 52 percent photographed? Take good care, Mary Ann

Ken Buttry
RE: Nettie Dickinson Betts
Thanks, Her death certificate indicated that she was cremated at Elmwood but I had been let to believe that her ashes were not interred there. I will send you some details on her life to be posted on her memorial.

Thanks again, Ken
