 | RE: Kifer, Isabella & Selby You are most welcome.I have more photos from the family plot....memorials are being created and more photos will be posted. | | | maggie spitler
 | Ranes and Alshire I did get photos of the gravestones you requested in Clay Twp. cemetery. However, the sun was directly behind me when I went, and as a result, there is quite a glare on them and there is a portion of my shadow on the gravestones. If this is not acceptable, I can take another picture next time I am there. | | | Ellen Headington

 | Mary Young HI .. the info for the North Canton or Zion #56 came from an online source. I'm sorry I can't locate it currently. Have you yourself tried calling the cemetery ? Sometimes I have been told burials aren't there only to find out they are and were not found or were "unmarked" good luck.

 | RE: Hanchett, Jonathan OK thanks. It may be unmarked or unreadable but all that can be read have photos now. | | | Zella
 | Hanchett Rene,
I have transferred Elizabeth to you. I note that I missed her individual memorial when photographing that section (which is why I only have the plot of three pictured); I do have her listed to re-photograph later.
I do not believe Elijah would be buried at Glendale, since he died while the family was living in Tallmadge. I think Elizabeth probably got buried there because she was living in Akron with children. It would make the most sense for Elijah to be in Tallmadge cemetery.
I have not looked at your other memorials, but I am guessing you have a number of burial unknowns - you really should not add persons if you do not know the place of burial - it destroys the credibility and usefulness of the site, as it is designed to serve as a grave-registration site. Please consider removing any burial unknowns until you find the resting place. I used to have four burial unknowns of my own and I finally removed the ones I could not find resting places for as I realized it was not a good thing for the site.
Happy that I was able to help you by locating Elizabeth.

 | RE: Salem Reed Rene, your very welcome, I started putting those on so I don't search for the same people again. It's a memory thing.

Rene,
No, they aren't related to me. I live in the Dayton area where the cemetery is. I walked the cemetery a few years ago and entered some records, including everything in the old section, to help people out doing research that don't live in the area and can't visit the cemetery themselves. If you are related, and want the records transferred to you, I can do that.

All done. Double check everything for me. Thanks for catching that there was no image on Mary Koehler's record. I put in a lot of records that day. -Dorrie | | | | [View all messages...] |
