Hi, Just a line or two about me. I have been interested in cemeteries from the time I was a child. I always went to the cemetery with my parents especially my Mom and she taught me the value of remembering and respecting those that have gone before us. I have been working on my Family Tree for a few years and truly enjoy the satisfaction of visiting and cleaning off a grave that has not been visited for some time. Too many people have stopped doing that sort of thing. I pray that websites like this are enough to bring back that great tradition.
If I have posted something incorrectly or if you wish for the Memorial to be removed please let me know and I will either correct it or remove it.
I think it is a real shame what findagrave has evolved into. What started as a noble way to link people with graves of loved ones they could never hope to see, and with the generations that had preceded them, has turned into a game for some. Memorials have turned into a kind of "trading card", a competition of who can own the most memorials and post the highest numbers. What has been forgotten by many is that these were people, loved in life and death, not a commodity to be traded or owned... With my apologies to those that have pure motives. I hope there are more of us than there are of them... | |

 | RE: Paul Weiland Rob, I think it was 2/3 way up the hill towards the left. I seemed to frequent the cemetery and decided to get pics of all stones. If I get a request I also try to get any stone that won't be readable soon. Plus Weiland is my jeweler in town!!! | | | Coleman
 | RE: Noah Carpenter & Emma Voris Unfortunatly I will not be transfering Noah and Emma "Voris" Carpenter to you as she is the sister of my Great Grandfather Francis Voris. I looked through your 12,087 memorials and didn't see any Voris's or Carpenter's so I was curious how you may be related? I would love to share family history if you are. Thanks, Rob
Dear Rob
Thats ok if you dont want to transfer,i didnt know you were related to,you dont see any Carpenter or Voris's because i just recently found out they were related and also i dont know where alot of them are buried at,im related to Noah Carpenter and only related to his wife by marriage, well since you are related maybe we can share some stuff on the Carpenters, i dont have a whole bunch of stuff since i recently found out they were related, maybe you can help me out some, and maybe i can help you too,i would be glad to help any where i can,i help anyone who asks me for it ,i love when im able to help out on family stuff.

 | Dr. Norman Childers Fulfilled someone's photo request but alas, Dr. Childers does not have a headstone yet. I photographed the area and the temporary marker for now but recommend you replace with headstone when you find out it's up and possibly put back up another photo request later when you think it might be up. It is possible that Evergreen might know when the headstone goes up because they knew before I got there it was a temporary marker. Phone 352-393-8535 for cemetery coordinator to check on it later.Added by Lisa Mac on Jul 18, 2011 6:53 PM | | | Natalie
 | Cousins? I think we might be cousins, Rob.
I am from William Schrader's line.
1William, 2Jacob, 3John, 4Edward, 5Walter, 6Jeanette
Just got into researching the Schrader line, and my ggfather Edward seems to be the one who moved to Indiana from Ohio.Added by Natalie on Apr 14, 2011 6:44 AM | | | Dianne
 | RE: Sophia J. (Weiland) Miller Thanks, Rob - I appreciate your additions. I am not related to this family group; it was part of a line I was working on for a friend, found the family info interesting and decided to post it in hopes it might help someone else. You are more than welcome to take the management if you'd like - just let me know. Thanks again, DianneAdded by Dianne on Feb 15, 2011 9:09 PM | | | Lynn Andrews

 | Veronica Barbara Voris Temple Hi Rob, I transferred the memorials for Veronica Temple and her husband Donald to you, after I added the relationships to Veronica's parents. Take good care of them! Valita RandolphAdded by Valita on Dec 07, 2009 9:35 PM | | | Kirk Beaty
 | Warren Cook Family Graves Rob,
Thank you very much for the photos of the Warren Cook family in the Hill Road Methodist Cemetery. And for sending the details with these. Much obliged. I'm sharing your photos with other family who are hunting relatives down this line as well.
Thanks again, very much appreciated. Kirk Beaty | | | regina e
 | Thanks! IT's so good to know there are people out there like yourself...leaving a flower, cleaning off a grace or simply posting a photo fo a graveyard.
