I've been doing genealogy since 1975. Live in central Iowa and have gone around to several cemeteries to add names and photographs of stones. I have even gone to cemeteries in Wisconsin Nebraska and Illinois and added those names and photos. If I add someone who has just died but someone put them out there long before their death - don't ask me to remove mine because I won't. Findagrave is to find a grave - not see someone's grave stone who is still alive and died several years later. I'm not the only one who feels this way I have seen where other's feel the same way. If anyone wants to use one of my photos that is fine with me. I have no problem with that.

Are you related to the Ellis family you have listed in Iowa?

Howard E. Ferguson
Bless you! I've been looking for Howard's parents for over ten years(son of Sallie Maxwell and Robert Ferguson). Howard went west, and in Nov 1896, he married Sophia Potter.
I'm still reaching Sophia.
In 1892 she was Mrs. Sophia Saunders who married George Devillo Potter in July of 1892.
George was killed in a mining accident at the Smuggler Mine in Aspen, Colorado in Oct 1894.
Again, many thanks for your help.

Delia A Lockwood, 45305171
Hello. I believe this stone (which is very difficult to read), is for Delia A Ingham Lockwood. It says, "Wife of I. H. Lockwood", who would be Israel Harvey Lockwood, son of Oliver and Lydia Maynard Lockwood, who are also buried in this cemetery. The problem is that Delia's death date should probably be 1857, since she was married to Israel 13 Mar 1853 (per the Illinois Marriage records for Ogle County) and her two children were born in 1854 and 1856. Israel then married my 3rd g aunt in Nevada, Story County, Iowa, 01 Dec 1861. Thank you for all the good work (and hard work, too!) you are doing for all of us. Regards, Diane

George Reimensnider
Went to Greenwood and found several Reimensniders, also spelled Remsnider and Reimsnyder. The only George I found was George W Reimsnyder 1877 - 1928. Do you know if this could be the right one? I have a picture of the grave stone. Please let me know.
