The portrait you added to Rev George Benjamin Atwell (1766-1814) memorial is that of his son Rev George Benjamin Atwell (1793-1879). Since it is on the wrong memorial, kindly remove it. I have posted a higher resolution image to his son's memorial. Thanks
I don't live in Ohio either. Here are some contacts that I would try in regards to the GAR issue.

Thanks for the information on Andrew Vance. Do you think he died in March or April of 1754 ?
|Tyler James McCane||RE: Catherine Winters Allen|
I am not related to this family nor have done much research on them. I would have to research more deeply into the family history to give you some tips.
The library in Mendota doesn't hold files for families, and in fact really don't have that much genealogy material. They do, however, have wide coverage for the newspapers that ran in Mendota.
I will have to check if they hold newspapers for 1866. If they do, would you like to check for a death notice / obituary?

If you want these Dubson memorials, I can transfer them to you.

Now I see the problem. The person that entered his burial at North Burial Grounds, Warren, RI has the wrong North Burial Grounds.
Turns out James and I are related, I also trace my roots back to Richard Warren, Mayflower passenger
