Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in the Wairarapa, New Zealand with my husband & 2x children. I have enjoyed helping people find lost & missing family members over the past few years. Feel free to leave me a message if you have extra information for someone.

I am trying to add all local entries, but I also enter the deaths from the local paper, so I can connect them with any family at these cemeteries. (I do not keep copies of the obituary). For those entries which I have just the year of death date I have estimated the persons birth date, if you know the correct DOB date let me know and I will insure the correct information is entered. I am not related to 99.9% of my entries.

Many people like being able to see family members headstones as they don't live near but others may not, If you want a family member removed feel free to let me know. I am happy to do this.
I don't need to be abused for this to happen.

If I have made an error I'm also happy to change this.

RE: Joan Margaret Gibson nee Spencer
Thanks Jo, When I loaded her she didn't come up as a duplicate. Bit odd I thought. Happy hunting :)

Joan Margaret Gibson nee Spencer
Hi Jo Jo,

I see you have uploaded Auntie Joan's newspaper obituary. Would you mind adding it to my record that's on here please. Seems we have a double up to. I haven't been over to see if the dates have been added to their plaque but would assume that it has been done already.
Many thanks

Hello Jo Jo. Ahh, one of those photos from that crazy day in June 2014! On that day, something very odd happened with the software, and any photos uploaded that day got attached to random wrong memorials on Find-a-Grave. I've gotten messages from all over the US saying my photos that day got mis-uploaded, but this is the first one for a New Zealand memorial! I've removed the wandering photo. Just in case you're interested... The photo that happened to land on your memorial was for Francis K. Glidden, from the Glidden family of Cleveland, Ohio, USA, who made their fortune in the sale of paint in the late 19th and early 20th century. You can see the modern company at glidden dot com. Their family home is now a beautifully restored inn, at thegliddenhouse dot com. The gravesite that I photographed that day is in vast and beautiful Lake View Cemetery. The family plot is located very near the Garfield Monument, an elaborate castle-like tomb for US President James A. Garfield, who was assassinated in 1881 after only six months in office. It is a special place in our city. Anyway, thanks for letting me know about the photo so I could fix it. *Janice

Mary Elizabeth Barrie
Hi Jo Jo. As I will be going to Waipukurau soon to fulfil photo requests I was doing some pre searching. The CHB Council do not have Mary listed on their database. I did however come across a Mary Barrie buried in 1952 at the Wakapuaka Cemetery in Nelson & a Hugh Clark Barrie buried in 1937 at the Syndenham Cemetery. I was wondering if these were the people you seek. If not, more info would be great to assist in fulfilling your request. Thanks Rachael.
