Are you a descendant of this family? If so, I believe that we are 3rd or 4th cousins. Would you please send me an email? Anna Parks (email@example.com)

Yes I do remember your family. I'm not sure about the transfers, I'm really new to this site. We lost Dad last month and it's got me looking into our ancestors for my kids and grandson. Jimmy is in Joshua TX. I will be sure and let him know we made contact. Thanks for replying to me. Cindy

I have a question for you, do you know how far it is from Griffin Flats to Tate cemetery? I have often thought that if it were feasible Grandpa Noble would have buried Florence in Tate since her first two children plus her father and brother were already buried there when she died. However Cedar Creek haws been mentioned as a possibility before; I'm pretty sure there is no stone so we will probably never know for sure. Thanks, BK
|Betty Keysacker||RE: Bramletts and Coffmans|
Hi, on the list of Noble's children, I somehow forgot to list aunt Ethyl; there was also a daughter born about 1918 before my dad who died as an infant. Here is what I have:
Elijah 14 Nov 1898-20 Oct 1899
William franklin 16 May 1901-17 Aug 1905
Mae Belle 3 May 1903-1952
Laura Belle 1 April 1905-1944
Ethel Florence 27 Jul 1907-not sure
Berna Jane 20 Dec 1910-she is on findagrave under jane brewer; buried near Benton; I can get this later if you like
Albert (Adam) Smithton 24 feb 1912-6 March 1988
Carrie Ann 28 Aug 1914-unsure
Norman Cecil 15 Oct 1919-10 dec 2003
Second marriage: Lona Ellenburg Corsbie
Noble Jr. 24 March 1931-
Lewis David-don't have his dates handy but he is buried in Flynn Cemetery in Humnoke AR and he is on Findagrave. Later, BK

Sorry about that first attempt; I hit enter by mistake. Thanks so much for all the info you sent; much of it I didn't have. I don't have all my "stuff" with me right now so I will have to digest and compare information with you. However I can tell you some things from memory. Carrie Ann is thought to have been married previously because in the marriage record, she is listed as Mrs. K. Ann Pigg when she married William B. I never knew what the B. stood for, how did you learn of it? On Noble and Florence's children you have a Maude Mary (Stephens) listed. I have never seen that name before! Noble and Florence were my grandparents and these are all the children I know of: William, Elijah, Mae Bell, Laura Bell, Berna Jane, Carrie, Adam Albert, Norman Cecil (my dad). Grandpa Noble married Lona (last name escapes me at the moment) and they had two sons, Noble Smithton Jr. and Lewis David. You will find some of our family buried at Flynn cemetery in Humnoke AR. I live near Forrest City AR but still have family in the Russellville area. Anyway, thanks again; I will write more later. Betty
