I have found memorials, many with photos of gravestones, for many of my ancestors on this site. I have used the Photo Requests feature to see the gravestones for other relatives as well. The members and volunteer photographers have responded wonderfully!|
I think this is a wonderful resource, for a lot of reasons. I am fortunate to be able to volunteer as well by fulfilling Photo Requests of nearby cemeteries when time allows, from people just like me and you who would not be able to see the grave sites of their relatives or loved ones otherwise.
By creating a memorial, I am more than willing and delighted to maintain it until a family member would like to take over the responsibility.
I do not make duplicate memorials on purpose, but sometimes they just happen; and I will delete mine as soon as notified.
Please do not ask me to delete my older memorial because you didn't spend the time to see if one was already created. I am sorry your memorial may have more information, pictures, etc., but these are Find-A-Grave rules and I happen to agree with them.
TRANSFERS (PLEASE READ): Per Find A Grave FAQs, You can add photos and suggest corrections without having to request management. Add information by using the EDIT TAB in the upper right of memorial. Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a transfer request. With hundreds of thousands of contributors, we have many overlapping family trees and it would be impossible for all contributors to manage their entire tree. Transferring of management should only be requested If you have extensive changes to make to a memorial.
Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Explain your relationship in the request!
I will consider making out-of-guideline transfers on a case-by-case basis. Please tell me your specific relationship to the one you want transferred to you. I would like specifics not vague statements. IF YOU AREN'T SPECIFIC, I WILL IGNORE/DELETE YOUR REQUEST. Make requests only through the EDIT button in top right corner of memorial. All other requests will be ignored. Please be considerate when asking.
This is guidelines set forth by Find A Grave. If you don't agree with them, please take it up with Find A Grave.
CORRECTIONS and ADDITIONS:
If you want me to add links, PLEASE make change/addition requests through the EDIT button in top right corner of memorial.
I authorize anybody to use the photos I have posted for personal use.

I have sent an edit through to add his middle name, which is Keith. He was my ex who remained a friend.

Thank you for providing a pic of my Aunt Patricia's (and Baby) grave marker. I wasnt even aware she was finally given one. She passed in the same car accident as my father did, His name was LeRoy Mac Smith. I am so happy to see she finally has the marker. Thanks again!

When I search for Helen Fredericksen I do not find her. When I search for Helen "Olson Fredericksen" she appears. Few people will look for that double surname. Generally, in the case of multiple marriages, you would not see any surnames in the name field except her maiden name and her final married surname, all the other surnames that she used would appear only in the bio. I personally think Findagrave should have the ability to accept search criteria of "Contains" not just "Equal To", but there it is. Even searching for Helen "Olson" will not find her. It is especially sticky when her gravestone supports the double surname. Good luck on this one!

I'm doing a photo project in the Lincoln Memorial Park mausoleum, in Portland, Oregon, and found and photographed Lucile's crypt. I've uploaded the photos to her memorial page. I you don't like one or any of them, please contact me and I'll remove them.
Thanks Rick. Great job.
