I have realized that I am too busy right now to be a photo volunteer. Hopefully, in the future I will be able to look again. I really enjoy it.

Regarding using chalk on stones
We noticed that someone had left you a message regarding using chalk on stones to read them. If you read the instructions on being a volunteer photographer for find a grave it says that you should not use anything on the stones. The chalk has a chemical in it that will cause the older stones to deteriorate. There is a way of doing a foil rubbing that will make the stone readable and causes no harm.

Thank you so much for the photo. There was a daughter on the tombstone that I did not know about. So the photo was even more helpful!!
Thanks for taking the time to help.

Thank you for the photo. I have seen weather stones like this and some one has taken sidewalk chalk and colored over the stone, which highlights the lettering. I don't know if it would work on this stone or not since it is both light and dark.

Thanks again.

Hi Kim -

If you can get to the cemetery with out any problem, I was wanting to know what was engraved on the stone. I think I have made out the names and dates - based on the info I already have in my tree, but there appears to be two or three additional lines at the bottom of the stone that I am not able to read.

Thanks
Kelly

Perry Tunnell & Family
Kim,
Thank you for the photos of Perry Tunnell & Family.
I added Anna Eliza (Whitlock) Tunnell's photo to her memorial. I lightened up the photo of Perry & Anna so you can make out the date.
If you click on her photo to enlarge it you will see I gave you credit for the photo.

Thanks again
