It began with jigsaw puzzles with Aunt Grace. Then it was crossword puzzles and later Sudokus. But now it's the puzzles presented by my family's past-I enjoy learning more about my ancestors and their families-and I value the wonderful folks that I've met in my journeys of discovery.
I love visiting cemeteries-every one has its own unique charm-and I value the opportunity to spend time reflecting on the lives of those who have passed before me.
I am willing to share my gravestone pictures-please credit me (eaglehart) and findagrave if you use them.

My dad grew up in Pendleton County on a farm in an area with mailing address as DeMossville but they lived in an area called Portland or Dividing Ridge.

Ellie's Grandma
RE: Hobbs at Old Peach Grove Cemetery
You are so welcome. I'm glad you found them and hope they are a big help.

I have several family links to the Hobbs family, too and was glad to be able to do this.

Hi Kathy,

So glad you liked the pictures. Actually, the weather warmed up to 42 that day . . . almost felt like spring after the hard winter we've had . . . so I grabbed my camera and tried to make a dent in the requests that have been backing up since before Christmas. I won't do pictures if there is snow on the ground. Personally, I don't like the way they look, and if there is still snow, then it is probably too cold to be out there anyway! Ha!! I would be happy for you to use the pictures in your Ancestry tree. Please do give source credit to Find a Grave, though, and if you want to list me as the volunteer contributor that would be great. If there are any other photos you need taken let me know. Paula Segrest

RE: William and Maggie ASH
Let me know if you would like an invitation to my Ancestry site. I have a lot more pictures there for both the Ash and the Phillips Family. It is nice to see someone appreciate my efforts. I have been working on Family History for over 30 years. William Ash and Maggie Mae Phillips Ash were my mother's parents, my maternal grandparents. Vickie

Don't forget to send me an email address.
