RE: Vaughn & Donna Fendre My pleasure. It was so nice to see that their parents are right beside them. Yes, we were in Lake Odessa on Saturday and the snow was covering a good portion of the flat stones in the shady sections. Made for slightly difficult searching, but it ended up being a nice and productive trip.
Sawdy Infants Their suggestion: ------------------------- Where did you come up with this entry? I have spent many hours and miles looking this entry up and find nothing. The swexton of this cemetery has no record of any 3 Sawdy babys being buried her. Please advise.
I found this information either by going there myself, or from a cemetery reference book obtained by the cemetery.
photo There is no ref # for the photo. I was merely asking you if you could add the photo that you took of Zion Cemetery to Anna Schwarzwalder. I was asking this because her name is on the placque that you took a photo of and posted as the cemetery photo. Her memorial # is 101106431.
RE: Sarah Sawdey No problem at all. I am on a mission to update all of the cemeteries in Lafayette County. I started about 2 months ago and I do whatever I have to in order to restore the respect of these families & stones. I have learned to put a crowbar & shovel in my car & a pair of gloves... my husband thinks I'm nuts but I am sure the people that drive by must think I'm some crazy person too, but I am just doing what the groundskeeper should of done years ago.
If I come across Elijah, Catherine or any other of the Sawdey family members still missing I will certainly link them for you and add any picture I can. Let me know when you visit, I have several resources to replace Sarah's stone in its' proper place, which I can not do since I am not a family member.
Catherine E. Binkley/Fourman In regards to your message about the duplicate names: Catherine E Binkley Your memorial #115376142 is a direct duplicate of # 31505442. Since I didn't create the original I don't believe I can add. I sent her a message if she wishes to add some of my info. Just a note: Since Catherine Binkley Culbertson was married twice and the last time being a Fourman, if they look under Fourman without knowing the Culbertson name they won't be able to find her.
photo removal I am not sure what photo you are referring to. The large Mitchell stone sits in from of several little ground stones which are all part of Mitchel family. What is "pathetic" about these 2 photos?
