I'm working on a volume of grave locations for veterans of Co. D, 112th NY Infantry. Could I have your permission to use the picture you posted of Sylvester Belcher's grave in this compilation? I will cite you as the source.

Thank you.

Marshall DeWitt
What helped you determine that Marshall was buried in Parlier? I contacted the cemetery office and he had no record of the burial. I tried to locate a obit in the local paper and was unable to.

RE: DeWitt photo
You're very welcome, Don! Many thanks for your message! Glad I was able to help verify the name for you!

We've been having some much needed rain lately, which caused a short delay from fulfilling your request sooner!

Wishing you continued success with your on-going DeWitt family research!

With Best Wishes,
Sharon, #47770935

RE: Reese grave
Hi Don, sorry I think I worded my email badly ... nothing currently entered on find a grave at Hillsborough for Reese. This is the link for the council website for Hillsborough Cemetery (and others). Put in Reese and only the 2 entries will appear and the transcription .. . Hope it is of use to you. Like I said I am most likely to visit Hillsborough over Christmas/New Year so can take a photo then if someone else does not beat me to it. Regards, Gillian.

RE: McNeal photo
Glad to be able to help you with your work. Sorry about the condition of the McNeal stone and that the others were unmarked (unless they are inscribed on the face of the fallen stone. The ground was too soft to try to do anything with a stone that size by myself.

This Is Who We Are: One Big Family
14779760 Hoyt Sherman

You have Hoyt Sherman having two fathers. You have him as the Son o Henry R and Phebe DeWitt Sherman. and in the bio you have Henry Fisher Sherman which is the correct one because he died in 1914 and Henry R Sherman died before Hoty Sherman was born. Can you double check this out. I am trying to enter them into my family tree.
