I have been researching my family tree for several years. I especially enjoy working in the cemeteries. My brick wall seems to be the Neal's (Neil, Niel, Neel), Plumlee's & Cash's of Knox Co., Tennessee. If you are researching the same, I would love to hear from you.|

|Anonymous||Ruth Simpson Johnson, Woodlawn Cemetery|
Hello! In 2009 I created a memorial for Ruth Simpson Johnson, buried in Woodlawn Cemetery in Knoxville. Someone recently suggested a few edits to the memorial, and as I was making those changes I found that you also have created a page for the same person. I don't know the best thing to do in this situation. I suppose one of us should delete our memorial, so long as the one left up contains all the information/pictures. I don't mind deleting mine once you update yours, or you can transfer yours to me and I'll handle it all. Thanks!
If you still need help to get the book to the family, I can help. I am a cousin.
Let me know.

Thank you for the transfer of Andrew Giffin's memorial.
|JoanB||Nina Armstrong McGhee|
I thought you might be interested to know that Aaron and Margaret Armstrong also had a daughter, Nina, who married to John McGhee.
They also had a daughter named "Bertie" who never married, but is buried near Nina and John in Lynnhurst Cemetery in Knox Co.
I only know about Nina because of my research into the McGhee family. She and John had no children, though he had two from a previous marriage.

|Jack L. Coleman||My Walker line ..|
Much appreciated ....
Great efforts on your part that I would never locate without good folks like you. My Walker line goes back to Northumberland Co., Virginia and Thomas Walker, Sr., 1762. Also appreciate any data on my Coleman lineage out of Knox Co., Tn.
John Coleman born 1815, Va. relocated to southern Knox Co. by 1840's. Unknown father from Va. ?? Believed to be the son of William Coleman, Va. DNA suggests connection to the "Mobjack Bay" line out of Gloucester, Va.
Both the Walker's and Coleman's can be seen in the 1830-50 Knox census in dist. 14/15.
Any info appreciated !

Since you manage numerous memorials at Woodlawn Cemetery and I continue to discover more family connections interred there than I ever imagined I am constantly bombarding you with requests for edits. I want to thank you for always promptly considering and making the requested changes, also for documenting all the memorials. I'm sure your efforts have been of great benefit to those researching and searching for family.

First, many thanks for your extensive documentation and research. You have been awesome!
Could you email an image file of..well, any Otts...but the one that got my attention was of William Edgar Ott with dau Mae Ott Knight holding baby Herbert. At least, I presume it's the first boy,Herbert, from the excited looks everyone is giving him. This request is on the public site so that it can extend to everyone who sees this message In return, I offer to share whatever images I have. Mostly Ott/Walker/French/Jett/Housers and occasional Vineyards from Knox/Blount area.
Many thanks! Hope to bump into you at a cemetery sometime ( only on Find A Grave is that a good thing!)

I assume you are talking about Dr. Judson Benjamin Deal (wife Donna) listed in Barbara Deal's obit. The obit has them living in Augusta.
I looked at the Richmond Co. Tax Assessor's website and their address is: 505 Regent Place, Augusta, GA 30909. Hope this helps. Thanks,
