RE: Jane B. Sharp
For the time being lets leave her in both. The stone was located in Sharp-Berry, but our understanding is that the burials were, for the most part, moved to other cemeteries. When it's a bit warmer, I'll go down to Old Union to see if she has a stone there. When I transcribed Old Union, I wasn't yet taking photographs, but usually if I couldn't find someone I added the "No stone found" entry with the name. Don't let me forget to check it when it's warmer - today is miserably cold.

In fact, I'll take my camera to Old Union and at least start taking photos - hopefully the hugh pile of stones which was in the soutwest corner is still there - am wondering though since the fence is now gone and they were up against the fence.

RE: Carolyn Irene Miner
No problem - was happy to do it. Carolyn and I grew up together - spent most of our summer days together with my sister and another friend. We lived near each other but lost track when I moved away for 20+ years.

Was fortunate to get together with her again before she died. Had so much fun talking about our shenanigans as kids.

I would also like to take over William Brooks if that is ok with you. It is great that you have contacted me, I do not know any of my relatives on my Ruyle side, but would like to. My parents live in Alton, Il and I live in Byrnes Mill, MO.

RE: Kizer
Hope it helps, Donnie. By the way, the John who lived in Roane & Cumberland Counties seems to have had a middle initial of "J" or "G." Per his death cert, he was b in Ga., and was a preacher as well as a farmer. Doesn't say which denomination, though, and I didn't see a reference to preaching in his occupation shown in 1880, 1900 or 1910. Still, it might be a clue to tracking down more on him. Wife Haley seems to have been born in TN.
