|Doug Borgman||Re: Andrew Mack Memorial|
Thank you for the comment for the Andrew Mack Memorial. I am aware that the graves for Andrew and Amelia Mack are not within the boundaries of the Riverside Cemetery. When I researched Andrew Mack online and discovered all that he had done I wanted to put his memorial in the "famous people" designation. Find a grave will not let a contributor do that unless the person is in a recognized cemetery. So, I chose to show that it is in Riverside Cemetery. Even with that Find a Grave would not recognize Andrew Mack as famous. You would think that someone who was mayor of Detroit, cofounder of the Detroit Free Press, in the Ohio and Michigan legislatures, and an officer in the War of 1812, would be a shoo-in for the famous category. I guess not.
|Traci's Mom||Token you left for Traci Fields|
Thank you very much for the token you left for my angel daughter Traci. She was a wonderful gift from GOD, and she's in my heart and mind every single day. Her passing has left major holes in the hearts of her family and friends.
I appreciate you helping to reach my goal of 5,000 tokens by her birthday, November 20th. Actually, thanks to you and other findagravers, so far today Traci has received 6,026 flowers/tokens. That makes my family and I extremely happy. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I'm thankful and blessed for your kindness. GOD bless you for your heavenly heart.
I am so overwhelmed with all the findagrave friends requesting flowers/tokens for my Traci. Thank you ever so much!
This is something I wrote for Traci:
It was a cold, quiet night at the cemetery. The snow was falling gently to the ground. The only sound that could be heard was the whistling of the wind. Off in the distance I suddenly heard the tiny sound of jingling bells. I looked around and wondered where the life was in the stillness of this cemetery.
As I gazed around, I saw a ray of moonbeam shining down on a small Christmas tree.
I thought to myself, "This is where the life is in the cemetery!"
Ring the bells this holiday season in memory of those you love.
Sharon (Traci's mom)
Thank you. I'm in California, so it's difficult to look for my family graves. I appreciate your help.
|Anonymous||RE: William Alexander|
Thanks for checking on William Alexander. The grave does sound like his. He remarried when his wife Debra passed away. His new wife was Eunice.
|Dale Safford||RE: Florence Sharrow|
I realized that she just passed away recently when I read this week's newspaper this morning! I will try to keep an eye on the cemetery (where my husband is also buried) to see if the death year gets added to the headstone. In the meantime I will remove the duplicate photo.
when they inscribe the year on her stone , i would appreciate a new pic, she just passed the other day Thank you for your help
|Dale Safford||Florence Sharrow in Resthaven|
I just added a photo of the Sharrow headstone, but I bet you are wondering if the 2013 death date has been added. I will check that out.

|Marlene Tyler||Tyler's in MI|
I am a Tyler from MI, A decendant of Randall Tyler and related to the Tyler's in Owosso "Providence Tyler" I have a lot of research done on the Tyler Family.
email me if interested @ firstname.lastname@example.org
I've been working on linking family on here for years and just came across another living decendant in Owosso who's catching me up on her Tyler line.
