I have always loved visiting cemeteries. My Mother took me to cemeteries to add flowers and visit, from the time I could walk. I have done this for many years, surveying cemeteries so others could see where family was buried. I am human and not doing this to please others, but, for my love of family. If I were doing this for numbers, I would have the 100,000 in mine, my children and my husbands families already done. |
PLEASE CONTACT ME ONLY through the edit button of the memorial in question. Do not send me a private email, or leave edit requests on my profile page, which requires me to look the memorial up, if you send it under other changes on the edit page, the link to the memorial will be included. Thank You!
PROOF FOR EDITS IS NECESSARY!
If I don't provide a source, another person will come along and demand that I change it to something else. With documentation, no one can do so. Therefore, I always ask for a source to verify the change.
PLEASE DO NOT SEND a private email, as it might not get checked for a month. Please do not ask for small, relatively unimportant changes, As long as the name is spelled right, the dates and locations of birth and death are correct, and the family links are correct, no edit is necessary. The purpose of Find A Grave is not to own memorials, put rather to remember the deceased and show love and respect to those who have gone before us.
NOTE TO FAG ADMINISTRATION:
In the event of my disability or death, my memorials should be transferred to my son, Ted Harris, Contributor #46995146. Do not contact him now.

you left message about working on the Bass's and duplicates were made & yours are gone. Not sure what you are talking about. I know we spoke before about them, but I have lost your email and you do not have an email to contact you on Find A Grave. I made a duplicate on Leroy Bass and was notified about it, so I contacted Find A Grave and they merged the two and put my picture of him on the original. Please send me your email via: email@example.com
Need to speak you without it being posted

Thanks for the transfers. My grays trace back to Burke County where I've hit a wall. So far I haven't come across any of my Georgia relatives in Grady County. If I find a connection I'll will definitely contact you.

Yes, she is part of our family. I have contacted Don Kirkland who is working more Kirkland genealogy than I am at the time and asked if he would like to have it transferred to him. If he does not, than I will get back with you for a transfer, however, I do not meet the transfer criteria. Thanks.
|Michael Pafford||William Odom|
the story that was told me about William Odom back in the early 1970's when I had some cousins still living who were old enough to remember Emily; they didn't know what happened to William, assumed he had died in service since he never came home; they didn't have access to records like we do today; Emily bought the marker for William at Laurel Hill Cemetery many years after his death but she knew he wasn't in that grave - it was her tribute to her husband who lie in an grave somewhere she didn't know the location of.

No no no - Hattie S. Perry Hurst was not named Henrietta! Her given name IS Hattie. She told her grandson her father was going to name her Harriet but they settled on Hattie instead.
