|Nikolai Thompson||RE: Project help|
Hi there, I'm so glad that you were able to reply. I found James Robert smiths memorial number and it is 45636638.
I understand it's unlikely that either of you two have any connection to him. However, I talked to my teacher and she said that any experiences you would like to share that might give me a better idea of how the war felt and what it was like in general would greatly help to make a better project.

Dear Phil and Donna,
Looks like I did it again, I did one more search and I found the duplicate and deleted it. Thank you again for your help.

Dear Phil and Donna,
First, may I thank you Phil for your service for our country. As a VietNam era vet, may I also add Welcome Home Brother.
I have changed the dates on Rebecca Wade, I do wish to make my memorials as accurate as possible, but I need help from time to time, thank you so much for helping keep me straight.
I have tried to find the duplicate, but can't seem to locate it. I have only the one in my virtual cemeteries for cremations. I also did a Find A Grave search but since there is no cemetery there was no result. I have searched memorial numbers on both sides of her number (157671034) with no luck. Would please send me the duplicate Find A Grave# and I will delete it.
May I also say that, when I when to your contributor page, I was much in awe of the work you have done through the years. From a fellow graver, thank you for your dedication to preserve our heritage for our future.
If I can ever be of help to you, please just let me know.

Hi, Donna and Phil my name is Nikolai Thompson and I was wondering if either of you knew James Robert Smith as it seems you put together his virtual grave.
I attend Westlake High School and our English class is reading The Things They Carried and we are beginning a project memorializing servicemen whose names are on the Vietnam Memorial Wall. We are commemorating lost servicemen, and I received Corporal James Smith's name.
I was just trying to contact you in case you knew him to see if you would be willing to share any memories, experiences or photos you have of him that I can include in my memorial to make it more personal.
If you would like to see similar projets to the one I'm working on and where my memorial will eventually be posted, please visit virtualvietnam.eanesisd.net. Also please feel free to contact my teacher, Rebecka Stucky at firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you very much for your time,
Thank you for all you do. You are very special people

|Ellen Maynard||RE: Gladys Darnell|
Thank you very much for updating your memorial for Gladys Darnell. I understand that it's preferable to keep the earliest memorial when there are duplicates. When I notice duplication .. I try to point it out to both memorial owners and let them work it out among themselves.
I did submit some edits to link her to her parents.
Her maiden name was Drake and her mother's maiden name was Slead.
Her husband would have been 3rd cousin or so to my husband, so not a close relation.
Thank you! - Ellen M

Would you please transfer Martha Bodmer over to me (1943-2015). She is my mother. The obituary you posted were the words that I wrote and the picture you posted I took with my own camera. I was waiting to post this myself when I was ready. Kind of a surprise to see it done by a total stranger.
Thank you for your consideration.

Hi Donna...thanks for your note. You are so considerate! Actually Agent/Mallory is the ONLY Home I monitor! Thanks for your kindness, however, there are a couple of very enthusiastic contributors that usually beat me to the opportunity! :) Actually it doesn't matter at this point.
God bless you!
Donna there was a Ollie Strickland in 1910 Cenus with Joseph M. & Susie Higgins
Do you have a Ollie
